Opioids Morphine and water retention

Anybody had this? I did test liver and kidney function, it came back normal, but I noticed slight puffiness/water retention. I take 200-400mg of oral Morphine per day.

Opioids do generally cause urinary retention in me, but I'm unsure why

Yes, absolutely. Morphine and other opis make you retain water like the Hoover dam, that's the sad truth

That will help but other tricks are using cranberry juice or diet coke. They both make you piss

I just deal with it. Im also on testosterone which has made the water retention worse.
