Morphine and Oxycodone?

A friend of mine said he can get me 2 morphine pills (I believe he said they were 15mg). I have somewhat of a tolerance(usually take 30-45mg orall oxycodone). I am farily inexperienced with opiates, so as far as dosage goes, I was thinking maybye taking just the two morphines alone, or maybye combining it with 10mg oxycodone? 40-45mg oxy makes me nod pretty well, so maybye just the morphine? I am shooting for nodding!
I also wanted to add a big thank you to Phreex and everyone here for turning me on to these wonderful drugs, I have since quite smoking pot and moved on to much bigger and better things!
 
Actually morphine is almost twice as potent as Oxycodone - but I would agree with you in terms of the effects - that actually makes no sense medically, but if you bust out with some morphine or some oxycodone, both in pure form, I am going to take the oxycodoned simply as I find it gives a better high - orally, nasally, or when injectredd.. sadly, Science tripped me in the lunchroom, and said that he and Pharmacology would be waiting at the tennis courts for me...
 
It's not that perplexing medically. Medical charts measure equianalgesic doses, not "equi-high" doses. There are three different types of opioid receptors, plus the related sigma and orphanin FQ receptors; and each of these probably has a number of splice variants. Each opioid has different affinities for this multitude of receptors, influencing its subjective profile of effects. Additionally each substance has its own pharmacological properties, such as absorption rate, effectiveness at inducing receptor internalization, and BBB permeability at various brain regions. All these make each opioid quite distinct, and accounts for how one may be both more fun and a less effective painkiller than another.

I was thinking the same thing, but "equi-high"...that's raver technical talk. :)
