Opioids Morphine and methadone

I'm on 120mg a day morphine er. 1-2 times a week I'll stop morphine for the day and take 40-60mg methadone. That way I can save a few morphine, and try and help my morphine tolerance. Is this safe??

It's mostly safe, but the methadone is going to increase your tolerance to morphine. 60mg of methadone is significant stronger than 120mg of morphine.

What would be the right dose 20-30mg of methadone?

Yes that would be closer. Also, avoid multiple days in a row of methadone.

Would just 10mg of metadone be sufficient for 120mg a day morphine withdrawl?
