Opioids Morphine and GHB safety.

Hello,

I know morphine and other sedatives such as alcohol are a no no.

I am not taking morphine to get high, but rather to last longer in bed(don't laugh! lol).
Can 5mg of morphine turn things super sour if you are on GHB? I am a long time GHB user so there is no surprises there, and generally 5mg of morphine would do pretty much nothing (not a regular opiate user). Just dont want the combo to stop my heart all of a sudden.

I wouldn't combine the two because of the increase in CNS depression.

Like others have said, not a good idea, but if you do it anyway just start LOWWWW. You can very easily take too much and regret it (if you live to) but you can never take too little as you can always gradually add to it until you find the right dose.

I'm relatively certain that GHB is going to have the same or very similar interactions with opiates as benzos. Five mg's of morphine really is a small amount, but combining the two really seems like a bad idea. GHB is very euphoric in and of itself, I'm not certain you would even feel that dose of morphine while G'd out, seems like a waste to be perfectly honest.

Got to agree. Morphine is so nice, I wouldn't add anything to it. Why fix what aint broken?

I would seriously advise against taking these two together.

Although I admit I do not know this from consuming both at the same time myself, but I watched my x bf, whom was addicted to heroin, do the crappie flop more than once when he decided to mix G with H.
I would sit with him most of the time when he was passed out, just to make sure he was still breathing...there were so many times when he definitely did stop breathing while sleeping (knocked out/passed out) from mixing the two. He was unrousable; couldn't have woken him up if I blasted him in the dome with a 2x4.
...and he was definitely using H heavily, but even 1.5 mls of G added to that was WAY TOO MUCH.

and like a few of the folks above said...kind of a waste, IMHO, to mix the two together.
