Opioids Morphine 200MG Possible overdose??

I injected half of a morphine 200MG pill. Immediately after, my whole head and face went numb and my whole body was hot and tingly feeling. and i could also feel and hear my heartbeat. and also my hands were burning. i also felt mentally weird from it and had some shortness of breath and a bad headache. Does anybody know if i was OD'ing or what? It scared the crap out of me. Any info would be great asap.

You experienced the "rush" that you hear people talking about when IVing opiates. Morphine has a particularly bad histamine release, which may be the cause of what you are feeling, but it can also be the result of an artery shot.

If you think you are overdosing then call paramedics. I can't really tell you if you are ODing from over the computer.

^^^Agreed Tommyboy..^^^.The very first time i ever had oxycontin i IVed it and it was a 100mg tab. We called them grey ghosts....I got the same as what you did mate. I had NEVER had any opiates at all and a "mate" one day said did i want to try this....ANd i said yes....I kinda started at the top...Most people start on much lower doses and not they dont usually IV at the start either...BUT I did...100mg is a BIG dose for a first timer..The histamine rush can hurt..but i loved it!!...Blokes usually dont like it and chicks lOOOOVE it...I remember it well...too well..

Thanks for the reply,,, however,,, I have been shooting opiates for years.... especially morphine and so I def. know all about the "rush" however, this was more then a rush,, it really scared me... I did the same amount yesterday.. and didnt have
the numbness and the weird mental feeling at all.. so I have no idea what this was today.. anyone else with more info. would be so great... thanks again

Could it have been an artery shot? Or maybe cotton fever if you reused a cotton.

OP Glad it didnt happen a second time..Ive never had anything that numbs my face...only tingles/rush....The headache could be cotton fever like mentioned...

oo id be scared but I get scared over everything, I should probably not do drugs...

Anyways it sounds like it could be a histamine release as codeine and morphine... the naturals cause that the most...

I don't IV but I used all opiates extensively in every other ROA and I would get that feeling but slower so it sounds like a histamine release or maybe you fucked up your shot.

the headache and shit sounds wierd... I doubt if you overdosed you would feel pain or be awake typing on the computer, you would be choking on your own vomit you would know if you overdosed via IV... or unable to stay conscious...

the only thing would be if you got paint and binders in your veins and it got stuck... ooo that makes me cringe... or something that caused a blockage...

edit: sounds wierd after reading the whole thread actually, maybe something got through the filter or something idk.
