Morphine 120mg capsules

I have 3 morphine 120mg purple and white capsules,...Since morphine has such a low bioavailability how do I go about plugging these? I have plugged half as much of the dose and got mediocre results...

Also, what is in these capsules? Is it like those little beads inside or is it powder? I guess that's the real question here...I just want to make the most of the morphine. I really don't even like morphine...it makes me depressed, unless I get it through IV in the hospital. Anyway...thanks for any help you guys can give me.

I dont see why a hospital is necessary....

mix them up with water suck into a needleless syringe and now for the fun part. Stick it up your butt.

well if you are doing the morphine anyways u might as well crack one open.. wether it be powder or beads i say crush it up and let your nose do the work

Because most opiate users (wisely) choose not to go that route with their drugs, thats why not.

It's pretty terrible HR advice to tell someone to shoot something, think more carefully about your comments in the future. While IV morphine is the most effective method, these capsules are certainly not designed to be shot. Shooting any pill is dangerous, but the a lot of the binders and such in the beads in Kadian and Avinza (I'm guessing the OP has one of the two) are not removed by simple cotton filtration, and are quite dangerous to IV.

OP, you said you plugged half a capsule, so why are you asking if they contain beads or powder? You should know if you opened them up.

Probably the best way, in terms of safety, as already stated, is to plug them. Open the capsule, crush the beads if necessary, and add water, you're good to go.
 
well, first off, you never told us what brand, so the usual person wouldn't know if its powder or beads inside.

I, on the other hand, know a lot about morphine, and what you have is timed release capsule, so they will be beads inside. from my past experience, the beads gel up hardcore compared to any morphine pills.

if you only have a 1CC syringe (no needle of course) then you can only fit 60mg in one. as morphine is only soluble to 60mg/ml (always remember that). and do not add heat when making solution, this will DEF cause gelling. using room temp water, and working quickly is your best bet. so have everything ready before letting any water touch the crushed up beads.

make sure you've got your cottons made and sitting where you can get to them quickly. make sure the caps off your needle-less syringe, because you're gonna wanna use the cap to stir your mixture anywayz.

I'm talking about plugging, btw. I personally shoot my morphine, but I'm not gonna tell you to do that. plugging is the next best thing, and is quite close to IV, and MUCH safer.

I didn't recommend he shoot it, I was just asking why he would not want to shoot it, since he obviously stated that any other ROA other than shooting just made him depressed..........if I was the OP I would just not take morphine then.
 
I am a SHE by the way. Also, I never have and never will shoot anything.

So suppose that there are beads inside and they do gel up, how would one go about plugging something that gels and is time released?

Well what about this? I just take the pill orally...how much is released when?....30mgs per 3 hours?...what?
 
Yeah, thats probably your best bet. You already said you didn't want to bang it.

I've heard plugging with XR's isn't anywhere above 30% bio-availability.
 
Gelling up won't stop you from plugging them, it just takes more water. If you decide to take them orally crush the beads and pour the powder back into the capsule, that will at least partially defeat the time release.
 
Ok so listen, I can tolerate 40mg of oxycodone easily, I've read that 40mg of oxycodone is about equivalent (not taking into count cross tolerance) 60mg of morphine orally. I have also read that bIOA is around the same when comparing the ROA orally and rectally. So I am just going to empty about 75% of the beads, crush them and just sip it down with a warm soda (lots of CO3).

What do you guys think?:\
 
Hey guys I have these "AVINZA" half purple half white 120mg capsules. In these are a bunch of beads. I read here that rectal and oral BIOA are the same, so I figure just crush the beads and chase the powder in my mouth with a coke for CO3 (increase absorbtion and gets rid of the taste). Sound good???
