Opioids Morphin er 200mg for withdrawals

SWIM iv's a half gram of H a day.Will 200mg Morphine ER keep him out of withdrawls or take them away rather?

Totally opinionated. But I get it.

@OP, yes it will definitely help. IV or by mouth. You won't feel as high by mouth, but in my opinion it will keep the w/d's at bay for much longer.

Oh, and I'll be the first to say this...apparently they don't use "SWIM" here.

true but IV will defeat the ER, and make the morphine last probably about 4-6 hours instead of 12 hours... but it is true that morphine has a low oral BA (35% approx)... but why will it get ridd of your withdrawls? you'll simply be withdrawing of morphine instead
 
I would plug it. Much higher bioavailability than snorting and the time-release mechanism will still be somewhat intact providing you much longer relief than if you were to IV it. Suck it up and plug it
 
If you shoot half a g of H a day doing Morphine IV Will be good for the wd's.you will probably get 2 fixes if you've never shot Morph before.be prepared for a pins and needles prickly rush.also since they are ER they won't be as easy to prep as powdered dope.but will be kind of like prepping tar...micron filters are a plus with these.but if you use them just once you will probably be fine with the easy yet unhealthy way of banging these.search around you'll find the method I'm referring to.just don't make a habit of using those pills with the gel to the side method.
 
You need much less to keep out of withdrawals than to get high. Rather give your veins a break and take the morphine via other means, you probably won't get high anyway so use it to maintain rather. Insufflated has higher BA than oral IIRC.
