Ok I have never taken morphine before and I am asking this so I do not wind up in the ER..First of all I don't understand those conversion charts at all nor trust them so here is my question..I chew up 150mg of oxy at a time to get where I need to be..Anything less then that I don't feel a thing..I have 240mg of morphine oral (four 60mg pills) if I chew them all up at once will I most likely keel over? or will I not feel a thing and just waste it...Today wouldnt be a good day for a hospital trip..Not that any day is.

^It might be, people react differently to different opioids/opiates. Morphine is more sedating and has more side effects such as pruritis (itchiness) than oxycodone.
If you don't trust equianalgesic charts/narcotic converters, why would you trust us? Orally, 150mg oxy equals about 225mg of morphine.

this. while most likely taking ROUGHLY twice your normal dose of oxy will do the trick, it doesn't mean you should take it all at once, because of the off chance of less cross tolerance. take some, maybe a quarter to a half of that 240 or whatever, wait an hour or however long its supposed to take( i never take morphine orally so i forget) and take some more if it doesnt work.
or just chew up a shit load and prepare to possibly feel sick if its too much. especially since in my experience, morph makes me way more nauseous than oxy to get the same level of buzz.
sorry if thats vague, but those charts just aren't completely precise. the best they give you is a ball park estimate so you don't end up way overdosing. shoot a little bit lower to be safe and redose if you have to.
