Morocco OTC supplies, and other applicable hints and tips from Morocco

Ohayo!
It is very likely that I will be going for some time to Morocco in the near future. If this is the case, I see it for myself as a useful/useable information if someone has any knowledge about the easily, and even not-so-easily, obtainable goodies the local pharmacies offer,- especially stimulants, and hell, why not opioids as well.

Oh, and all of you who've been there before, or have lived, or are local, please share your knowledge to me and all. Stories in the memory of all the Beats. Price range for a cup of coffee, for the cheapest bed, or the hotel, for kief, for busses, for food, and what you could ever ask for!
If there is already a topic about Morocco, please let me know, I could not find any, and I, or someone, will delete this topic and I'll post this there.

It's a long time since I used to go to Morocco on a whim so this post is almost useless to you but...economy-wise it's not the country it used to be. I.E it used to be really cheap (it's the first place I ever stayed in five star hotels, couldn't do that now) and now it's fairly expensive thanks to Guardian readers popping over there for shopping weekends.

But my best tip to you, a must I would say, is hire a car. Get out into the mountains (which are stunning) and away from the usual sorts who will rip you off (or worse) in the cities. Casablanca is nothing like the film, in fact all the northern cities run more risk of getting stabbed than getting kissed. Marrakech has to be seen though. But in the mountains you will find friendly villagers.

Pharmacies? No idea. Dope is as cheap as your negotiating skills will allow.

Speaking French will get you further than not speaking French.
