Morning Glory Seeds-first time-Smooth and Bumpy Ride

I was in Wal-Mart for the first time in a while a couple of weeks ago. I decided to check out the gardening department to see if they had any morning glory seeds for sale. I leafed through the various flower seeds and finally came across some Heavenly Blues. The lable on the front of the packette read "Not for human consumption, do not ingest." "Yeah right," I thought. I bought six packs of the Heavenly Blue Morning Glory seeds. I had to wait a couple of weeks before I could actually have the chance to consume them.

The day came, and my mom and sister left the house. I quickly grabbed the seeds and threw them in the blender with some OJ. The pieces did not get chopped up nearly as much as I thought that they would. When I poured the mixture out of the blender, the seeds were barely chopped in half. I decided after the fact, that I should probably not do all of the seeds at once since I had never done them before. I scooped about half of the seeds out and washed the other half down with the orange juice. About an hour later, I started to feel something happen to my body.

I was sitting in my house and I started to feel really nauseated. I didn't think this would be an issue for me, as I have taken other psychedelic drugs that a lot of people tend to state that nausea is one of the side effects. But I felt ill. I thought that I was going to throw up. I tried to relax some just by lying down for a few minutes at a time.

Another hour or so went by and the nausea was still there, but it was accompanied by a pleasant buzz. My pupils were dialated and the buzz was a light floating sensation. It sort of felt like everything was better in the world. Unfortunately the buzz was not enough to take the focus off of the ill feeling in my stomach.

The buzz and sickly feeling lasted for several hours, and then finally I just went to bed. It took me a little while to fall asleep, but once I did, the dreams that I had that night were so amazing. I usually have vivid dreams, but these were extra special.

Overall, I didn't have a "bad" trip, but it was not a great one either. I have not decided wheter or not I will try the seeds again. If I do, I will do a few things that will hopefully make the trip better.

A. Put the seeds in a coffee grinder so that they are not so difficult for my stomach to digest
B. Have some pot on hand just in case the nausea is as bad as it was before
C. Trip during the day if at all possible.

I'd also recommend pot in general, when using Morning Glory or HBWR seeds.

Their synergy is amazing, and it will often launch a simple buzz into a full blown LSA trip.

Hahah, gold :D Does nobody question when you buy multiple packets from the store? Surely some workers must be switched on as to what's going on?

here's the impression i'm under, correct me if i'm wrong...

i've been to the store you describe and the seeds they sell there do have that warning on the label, this brand i believe adds a fungicide that's purpose is to induce nausea and a feeling of illness in case someone consumes the seeds. (did they appear to have a purple powder or sprinkling of any kind on the surface?)

basically, you bought the WRONG BRAND

there are several distributers that do NOT add these fungicides to the seeds and DO NOT have a warning label on the front of their packages. I would suggest shopping around for brands of seeds that DON'T have the warning label on the front of them. these are the seeds that I always eat and have never gotten sick from eating them.

I would hate for you to judge the seeds based on this experience because it is in my opinion an extremely rewarding drug if done correctly. Or you can be totally safe and order a bag of a few hundred from an online source that promises NO ADDITIVES added to their seeds, all natural seeds i guarantee will be worth your while. try a few grams again, and this time have some pot along for the trip. if you add some pot, then eat much less seeds, for a clean seed trip you can eat more than 200 and probably be ok. weed will more than double the strength of the trip, that's my estimate

i also suggest simply chewing the seeds to a very fine pulp and swallowing because i believe it works best for psychedelic effects, but this is just my 2 cents, look around at different people's descriptions, see which sounds best.

be safe, pay attention to warning labels, and most of all have a good time and maybe discover something new and beautiful, peace

Yeah I am usually, not the person to ask, if any substance causes nausea or side effects, cause, i sooooo rarely if ever get nauseated on anything. 2C-this, any tryptamine, whatever.

Last time I tried hawaiian baby woodrose seeds was almost 4 years ago, and they were ordered from an online supplier. My friends, who are more likely to have a session on the toilet, or conversation with a garbage can, they all took some seeds, and had a nice mild trip, none got any nausea. Me? Ohhh, I can't remember how many times I had to throw up that day. I got some mild effects but even on the way home hours hours after, I had to stop in a parking lot, to barf, then I was good til i got home.

Once before this I tried some crude so called "extract" of morning glory's, and all that did was make me feel sick also.

Anyway, i'm hoping the last few years of massive consumption of many different substances has helped me prepare to try this again. I have 50 or so seeds coming (HBWR), and I do want to look into ways to help with the nausea. I read possibly just grounding them up fine and putting them in capsules helps? Anyway i'm looking forward to trying the LSA's again, and i'm guessing it won't be as bad as before.
