More recreational bupe or methadone?

Which is more recreational when you are sustained on a very low dose of it (well under bupe cieling)

Which do u think is more recreational on a one off while clean?

Which is more recreational when you are sustained on a very low dose of it (well under bupe cieling) and take a large dose to get high?
 
Methadone, many times over. (I think I'm gonna have to temp ban whoever voted for buprenorphine so they can have some time to reflect on that 😤🤣.)

Then again, the inclusion of the language low dose makes this a little less clear, but a few months back I tried to get high on buprenorphine with no active tolerance, and I sort of frustrated myself, starting with 1mg, then 2mg an hour and a half later, then another milligram an hour later, then around 2 hours after that i said fuck it and took the remaining half a strip (4mg). I did end up getting fucked up, and almost threw up a good 8 hours later, but it never gave me the effect I was looking for. Made me definitely fucked up, but also kind of jumpy, like easily startled and kind of dissociated. Yet, if I were to pop say 30-40mg of methadone these days, without a tolerance, I would get lit up like a christmas tree 🎄. Even 20mg I'm sure would get me pretty toasty.
 
I love bupe don’t get me wrong, probably my favorite opiate of all time. But methadone is more recreational. Bupe is purely for those of us trying to get through the day with our sanity intact and not jonesing for a shot of H.

While clean with no tolerance, subutex (I'm allergic to naloxone)

I actually had a very highly functioning period I did like 3 strips every other week for a few months and had some great highs and highly functioning work days
 
bupre without tolerance is better, 0,5mg and youre high for 12hours, no nodding though. methadone is a little bit more boring, good for combinations though instead of burprenorphine which is a bit harsh on its own.
 
I've used both bupe and methadone recreationally with no opioid tolerace or concurrent dependence.

Methadone is significantly more recreational and stronger in general, in my opinion.

I guess everyone uses for different reasons and seeks different effects. I love heavy sedatives.
 
Methadone is WAY more recreational. I haven't had it many times, but when I have, it's been honestly amazing, probably my favorite opioid overall (I have never IVed). 60mg had me nodding harder than any nods I've ever had, felt amazing for almost 2 days.

Bupe is recreational if you aren't used to full agonists. When I was on kratom, 2mg of bupe made me feel really nice. Now that I'm on bupe... it just makes me feel normal. Mostly normal, except for the low testosterone.

I do like bupe for how functional it is, though. I am very motivated for work. I like how I just feel normal on it, and I don't think about other opiates really at all. And even when I do, I wouldn't be able to feel them, so I have no choice but to ignore them. But really, I haven't had a "real" opiate craving in quite some time.

I do wish I was completely free again, though. I definitely felt the best I ever had when I had my 5 years clean. I did an ibogaine flood dose and it changed everything for me.
