I dont know, I just find it crazy as to where the place they set up this heroin packaging lab.... I Wonder if it was just some big Heroin king pin that had a lot of money and decided to open up a packaging/heroin mill in a nice neighborhood in order to avoid detection?

Idk but its crazy...Like you wonder who the main guy/guys that were behind this to be able to be that high up as to be able to get 13 kilos (28 lbs) of probably pretty pure Heroin... I'm sure they cut the shit out of it too, unless it was some high-class white folks that were supplying the Theater goers/theater performers/theater goers? or maybe they just thought it was a good inconspicuous spot to have heroin-mill (packaging plant, basically)...?

My point is that in these thousands of rooms that are visible standing in any direction in Times Square, there's probably massive amounts of drugs in a few of them and some drugs in many of them.

$2.3 million worth of heroin seized in Philly

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA - November 19, 2010 (WPVI) -- Police have announced the seizure of $2.3 million worth of heroin from an apartment complex in Northeast Philadelphia.

Seven kilos of drugs were found in the Hillside apartment complex at 6060 Crescentville Road on Wednesday, police said.

During a Friday morning news conference to announce the bust, investigators called it one of the city's largest herion seizures to date.

The bust was a result of a two week stakeout.

Investigators said it all began when the FBI got a tip out of the Lehigh Valley that there would be a home invasion robbery at an apartment.

Authorities made an arrest in that case, which led to three more arrests and the seizure of the heroin.

Last year or the year before they made the biggest dope bust on record, and said the same thing, "this will affect the supply." Sure, for about a week or two and just on some corners.

A POWERFUL hallucinogenic drug linked to a religious organisation has been seized in police raids across South Devon for the second time in three months.

Police say they found 54 litres of Ayahuasca, a liquid which contains the powerful hallucinogenic dimethyltryptamine, a designated Class A drug, in a garage in Dartington.

The haul, one of the biggest ever found in the UK, followed a drugs raid on a home at Huxham's Cross, the same home police raided in August when they seized quantities of the same drug.

A total of four people were arrested in the raids which also took place at homes in Staverton, Harbertonford and Kingskerswell.

The fact they put the word sacrament in quotations as if its any less of a sacrament then wine sickens me.

Detective Inspector Andy Bevan said: "DMT is very dangerous which is why it has been graded a Class A drug. As such it is taken very seriously by police and border agencies. We will continue to take strong action against those who are involved in drug related criminality."

It amazes me that police never seem to have any idea that propaganda spread by the government about drugs isn't actually true. Like, they ACTUALLY believe that Ayahuasca is very dangerous? Even though it has been used without fault for thousands of years? /the article goes on to say that it has already been related to one death recently, to this i say, bullshit. Wheres your source, and what are the details? Balderdash.
 
Out of interest, when was DMT made class-A in the UK? What research or evidence lead to this happening? All I can find on Google is that it is a Class-A drug, not any history behind it being so, although I only had a few minutes to search.
 
Bahh. The writers probably don't dare to even think beyond their common sense understanding of what "hallucinogenic" actually means. "strong hallucinogenic" to them probably means that you see even crazier animals jumping around your room..
 
at our university health center they have a tv screen that cycles thru various health related information, one of the screens talks about THC being a "powerful hallucinogen." to have the hallucinogenci properties of thc lumped in the same category as LSD or DMT is just a joke.

Major methamphetamine haul seized in Georgia raid

Investigators seized close to half a tonne of the drug methamphetamine just outside the city of Atlanta in one of the biggest such finds in US history, authorities have said.

Police uncovered the haul, with an estimated street value of $44.6m (£28.6m), during a raid on a home in Norcross in the state of Georgia.

Crystal methamphetamine and liquid methamphetamine oil were discovered in a large drug lab, the authorities said.

The find totalled 983lb (445kg).

The home targeted in the investigation was being "strictly used for the production of methamphetamine", police said in a statement, adding that the seizure was thought "to be one of the largest methamphetamine confiscations in the United States".

"This would feed hundreds and hundreds of addicts and destroy who knows how many lives, countless lives," said federal Drug Enforcement Administration official Rodney Benson.

About the bolded quote, sure it would have fed addicts. But if not that meth than someone elses, and no new addicts would have come about because of that specific meth. No lives were saved, because anyone who wants meth can get it anyway. You don't chose to do meth because its available either way, if you want it you will get it - but just because you can doesn't mean you will. you feel me? Such fucking bullshit DEA propaganda. Do they really think they saved anyones life? because they didn't.
