Coca is a sacred plant to various indigenous groups of the Andes and the Amazon Basin. They have grown the plant for thousands of years and will continue to do so. While they get paid a pittance (not in food - the farm in most cases is their own), the more common payment is not being murdered. The indigenous groups are expected to grow coca and the producers are very aware of this. The sorry thing is the issue of crop spraying due to "Plan Colombia" which pretty much poisons all of the other crops and rivers that the indigenous rely on for sustenance..

its not just the native tribes but any farmer who's land is currently under the control of the rebels and da boss men and yeah you're right who else would grow the food?

I've stopped drinking all together pretty much. Maybe a beer a week at the most. I hate alcohol, it just doesn't mesh with me. I get angry and irritated when I'm drunk, feel sick and the hangover is terrible of course.
