Nice because all I've got is sharpies. I'll still use them too, but I'd like to fuck around with some paints for sure. Especially if you got it all. I know I saw that nice drafting table with supplies around it ;)

Hmm yea, what I was mistaking for pistils were just a set of new little leaf clusters.
Also, my plant has about 16 or 18 branches so far, it's about 3 weeks old.

Edit: My computer sucks too much to actually watch youtube videos so... Yeah that video is no help, is it ok to top it even though it's about a foot tall and has lot's of branches?
And should I cut only the very top new leaf cluster? I'm utterly confused

Edit Edit: I'm just going to go out there and chop away

It's funny, I've never topped a plant.

When I grow from clones there's no need, they've already got lots of branches and grow really bushy. My seedlings on the other hand tend to grow with one big main stem with a few side branches. Perhaps I should try a topping this year, they're at about the right time for it too. probably only going to do a single top of the main stem to get 2 stems; don't want to stress them out too much, if they were growing vigorously I'd be more willing but...

Yeah my plant has been growing pretty damn fast... Didn't realize they grew this fast. I just cut off all the little freshly sprouted leaf clusters from my plant

ALL of them, all the freshly sprouted leaf clusters

Except two of them that were at the second top branch because they have gotten too big over the last 2 days. I hope it grows really bushy now

Your a lucky guy getting those clones :D

I always grow from seed so it's necessary for me to top them otherwise they'd get to lanky. Right now they have nice thick stems for there size and the wind cant even mess with them there so strong. I love pot plants , they make me so happy =D

I hope so, I read on the internet just now that it's a bad idea to snip off any parts that arn't on the very top, I was cutting quite alot, but there is still MANY MANY leaves left so I think it will do fine :D

Yeah, if there's one thing that Canada has going good it's the pot industry. Most other stuff is a bit lackluster however. The ecstasy/MDMA industry is in shambles right now. Just take a wander through the Canada section of pillreports, it's obscene; we hardly have any MDMA up here at all anymore, ALL of our pills are piperazines. I really hope that class of chemicals gets outlawed.

I'm sure the pressers are importing massive amounts of piperazines from places like china and just pressing them into pills and selling them off as "ecstasy". If piperazines are outlawed, the flow from china will be stopped and since synthing MDMA is easier than synthing piperazines, MDMA could just make a comeback, it's the only way.

Come to think of it, I'd like to write my member of parliament on the issue. Maybe even mention the Dutch pill testing system and how great it would be to have on so many levels. just wondering whether to write such a letter anonymously or put my name on it? If it's anonymously written would it get immediately thrown out? Would it get immediately thrown out anyway given the subject matter and my name be put on a "watch" list? Things to think about...

Yeah I was thinking that was a bit overkill, might be kinda hard on the plant. It's not the number of leaves left that really matters (well kind of is) but what really matter is the "growing tips" where the stems get longer, new leaves come from, those things.

Hopefully your plant's still OK. It's best to research the hell out of a procedure before impulsively snipping things. ;)

Do you think it may just die or stunt it's growth massively? I hope it keeps growing fast, and I think I'm goinna go cut 2 more leaf clusters off

Leave the poor thing be man!

Sounds like you've already cut off plenty. It's best to do topping in stages, not one fell swoop.

Ideally, cut main top tip. Let the 2 that come up grow a bit, then cut them. Let the 4 that come up grow a bit, cut them... and so on.

Not just snipping branches all over the plant.. hence "topping"

It puts a lot of stress on the plant and could very well stunt the growth.. yes :\

planning sunrise-mountain-trip for the coming morning (T -4:30).
it will take me 90-120min to get to the place (daarrk forest).
will ingest shrooms at first sign of dawn.

I have a bottle of cabernet sauvignon(comeup), 20mg of zolpidem and some lorazepam(just in case), one red bull cola :) , a spleeping bag, sheet, a grapefruit, some peaches, a lamp, 30 whippets, a dispenser and a pack of red gauloises.

I hope I will find a nice place up there.
...am really nervous. don't know whats coming.

Sounds perfect. Let us know how it goes. :D

This won't put a face with the name, but here's a recent pic of upside down Dondante levitating above a Himalayan mountain stream:

P.S. Love the pic delsyd.

I wasn't cutting off all the branches or anything, but I was cutting all the fresh leaf clusters, but I left 2 which happen to be ones that are second branch from the top. The ones I did cut, was the top, and like 3 or 4 near the middle of the plant.

So do you really think it's a bad idea to just go and cut those 2 at the second top branch?
