Oh it will be magical. :D No need to worry about that.

Honestly, I think I'm pretty much done with other psychedelics. LSD has always been the best, and I don't think I'll ever find anything better. I'll be trying DOM soon and I have high hopes for that material -- its the only compound I've ever heard described as "better than acid."

LSD is just so transparent, its truly remarkable. My heart rate stays normal, I don't grind my teeth, I don't even really feel stimulated. In fact I get the opposite of body load, a type of lightness in my body that feels like I'm about 20 pounds lighter than I am -- and I can do physical activities (like playing guitar) noticeably better than I can while sober. Truly recreational, yet also truly spiritual and enlightening. And perfect for listening to music. :)

I think either this summer or next I'm going to go out with my friend, maybe camping, with an iPod, some lanterns/glowsticks(?), and some other stuff and just trip out.
 
I feel the same Roger. The only reason I do other psychedelics is when there's no Lucy.

Man, I like to take it just in my room alone, laying on my bed with music and weed. No social interactions to worry about, just you & the cid. I get really disconnected when I do it alone too, which I love. :)

I agree that LSD is great to just take at night, alone. Its great in most contexts, really. But some of the best LSD experiences of my life have been just laying on my couch listening to music and smoking good pot. Letting reality loosen its grip and my psyche so I can fly off into the cosmos for a while. :)
 
I think a friend would be nice though; we're both pretty similar minded and kind of spiritual (him more than me) and very into 'chill things'
 
I'm sure that would be enchanting too. I'm not promoting alone-trips as the only way to go :)

There's the type of trips I keep with me in my mind.

& then there's those trips where I can reflect back on them with the people I did it with on the crazy, funny, scary, & weird occasions that presented themselves to us.
 
LOL, psychedelic weirdness FTW.

Weird stuff always happens when I'm on acid, like when I tripped on thursday night (literally) 9 of the neighborhood cats were out chillin' on my porch. It was really strange, I've never seen that many random cats together in one place at once. I went out to have a cigarette and they were all just chillin with me. And the funniest part is that this little orange cat winked at me! :D I was on their level or something.
 
^Ahaha that would be sweet. Back when I did DXM (:|) weird shit would always happen to. Like once I was tripping and my sXe friend out of the blue myspaced me saying he sold weed and wanted to blaze with me lol, and another time this girl I hadn't talked to in about 7months IMed me randomly.

Ugh T-7 is taxing. So hungover today.

LSD is nice but it isn't immune from the general psychedelic body load and grating nerves. Staying up all night on a psychedelic and flying high is bound to make me feel kinda rough the next day. I usually spend the following day just relaxing and recouperating.
 
My first acid trip I couldn't wait to get away from the fella I was with (who had supplied the goodies) and spend time alone exploring my new headspace. Really didn't want to deal with anybody at all, just familiarise myself with the wonderland presented to me. Having said that, other than supplying the 'cid, the fella was a nob so not a huge surprise I wanted shot of him :D

As long as you don't underdose or get embroiled in some seriously fucked up situation, first time acid trips will always be special, I'd say. Alone, with a close friend, in a field filled with thousands of fellow trippers - whatever the circumstance it's all good %)

Ya, solo is the way for me too. People detract from the trip and generally bring me down. When I'm alone I have real trips.

And ya, underdosing is the pits. Staying stuck in that half-way zone full of body load without breaking that threshold into euphoria sucks the big one.

Whatta you guys think of the "clean vs. dirty lsd" debate. I personally think that there's a difference between batches that is undeniable (and can't be attributed merely to set and setting). Last LSD I had was this batch of amber geltabs that were really powerful, but very edgy and manic feeling -- highly adrenergic. This current batch of liquid I have, though, is as soft as satin. Little stimulation at all.

Perhaps due to the presence of iso-lsd and lumi-lsd? Hard to say, because the acid in geltabs is protected from light and air. Perhaps simply impurities from the production? All I know is there is a night-and-day difference between the two batches that's undeniable.
 
I've noticed differences between batches of acid too. May just be imagination, placebo, set/setting or any combination of above.

Impurities in production sounds the most likely culprit to me. Unreacted lysergic acid or ergotamine...?

Well "Hai thar" yourself and other assorted PD Peeps :)

Dirty acid? Some batches of acid do feel "cleaner" than others to me - some seem more speedy or manic and some more mellow and floaty and so on. Whether that's due to impurities, storage or good ol' set and setting I really couldn't say but I definitely enjoy some batches of acid more than others.
