So I was drunk and ordered a gram of 'moon rocks'.

Looks terribly gimmicky; apparently these are superior because they're made with shatter, and all that bullshit.

I luckily only bought a gram, so I'm not buying any special equipment.

So, if I dice these up and stick them in a pipe, will that be worth it?
 
You'll get stoned - but you're correct it's usually a marketing gimmick and you'd be miles better off scoring the kief/wax/weed separately and mixing yourself

edit - yeah a pipe with screen will do fine
 
I was thinking about the intro to the sitcom Out of This World; 'Swinging on a Star', but those are moonbeams, not moon rocks.

They sell em here too, but I can't imagine they're actually good.

i'd probably say crush them up, because ime smoking nug the weed on the inside won't be worth the hit at all if you burn the outside first because the weed on the inside will be vaped from heat burning the outside of the nug.,, might be cool to get a big hit of the stuff on the outside though. prob has a distinct taste.

moon rocks look pretty cool to me whether or not they are good... the only brand at the dispo with them isn't great flower, so i wouldn't gamble with their moon rocks. i saw moon roccks on a black market site back in the day too and their flower was hit or miss and their kief sucked, so i never gambled with that either... i don't like a lot of concentrates, crumble is the best to me, but i'd try moon rocks if i thought they were quality. they just look cool. lol

We don't really do concentrates over here. They're available, but standard traditional hash is far more popular.

Definitely a gimmick, but fairly powerful. Decent taste. If I find my Dynavap clone then I might try some in that.
 
For comparison's sake, High Grade in a pipe today.

Sent me in a different direction. The stuff would look like shit to dispensary customers and other selected Yanks, but it has outdoor sun grown magic. So fragrant and smooth.
 
made my own 'moon rock bowl' last night. Some jack herer weed as a base with a mix of some Live Resin and fullmelt bubblehash on top, sprinkled with some bottom-section-of-grinder keif, and topped off with a little more jack herer.

was potent, to say the least!
