Heroin Month old shot - how safe?

you could die of it. don't shoot that stuff! DON'T!

you could do it like this:
-add fresh water to the shot
-cook the liquid for at least 5 minutes, add water when too much has evaporated
-filter with micron filter
-plug it or swallow it. i think plugging would be the safest way to ingest it. but please don't shoot it. i had a shot of cocaine-hcl (100% pure; i know that because it's self made cocaine-hydrochloride; even all the other alkaloids have been removed by oxidizing that shit with either H2O2 or potassiumpermanganate) sitting around for about five weeks. the shot was cooked AND micronfiltered! and nevertheless bacteria, viruses and fungi grew in the shot so that a slimy ball could be seen when you looked at the liquid held against a light source. the ball slided from one side to the other inside the syringe when you held it like this or like that... you know what I mean. sry my english isn't the best... hope you understand me. :)

so the core message of my post is: don't fucking shoot it! plug it after cooking and micronfiltering it!

i already threw it out for the exact reasons u said about looking at it infront of light, i held it up in front of my monitor and saw that it wasnt very nice at all and just decided there and then to ditch it lol
 
Bacteria can double every 20 minutes in proper conditions. unless you micron filtered originally there were already thousands of bacteria in the shot when you left it, then after only 1 month it could potentially have doubled in number 2160 times. Not multiplied by that number, but to that powder.

Im not even gonna do the math because that's a royal fucking huge number.
 
^I was about to post that exact same excerpt, cane. From my limited understanding, hydrolysis usually occurs under very basic/acidic conditions. I also recall a thread about "liquid O", a solution of black tar in water, being sold for intranasal use. A lot of people on here said "that's stupid, it'll hydrolise to morphine and morphine is crap snorted". No-one thought "well, if they're selling it then it must work, maybe this dogma that we've accepted needs re-examining". The fact something is a consensus opinion on this board does not mean it is necessarily true.
 
Could I make up a shot tonight to have ready when i get up in about 12 hours or is this unsafe
 
Unless you are using sterile equipment and bacteriostatic solution it's more unsafe than making it in the morning. There is no real way to quantify how much more unsafe it is though and how much bacteria will grow over night.
 
add about 10 units of high% ethanol to your shot bnghit3 and it should be alright.


the amount of ethanol needed kinda depends on how much water you're using for a shot.. ?

I would never exceed 10% ethanol (although I have never had to inject anything but bacteriostatic water), because too much ethanol will cause your vein to burn, as well as will be corrosive to the vein itself.

It would be better to prep it when it's needed, or to switch over to bacteriostatic water and micron filtering. :)

i've shot 40% vodka before (don't ask, don't mock:X)
Its not painful at all, unless you miss, and i seriously doubt its any more harmful than meth.

i said 1/3rd ethanol because i doubt all the bacteria would be killed in 10% ethanol solution..


But ofcourse, you're right about prepping it when you need it.
 
This thread has gone on long enough.

Shooting something that old is not safe, period.

Shooting high-concentration ethanol is a great way to damage and/or collapse a vein, its simply not safe.
