Can you possibly please restore it, if there is a way? It was an overdue answer to @Xorkoth bit has never happened before.

And he officially openly declared that he will not be taking the vaccine himself nor giving it to any of his children.
 
mRNA vaccines are a new thing and in the past we avoided due to alot of safety concerns about them. Remember this type of vaccine acutally makes your body make the covid-19 proteins thats very risky for many at risk groups and does not stop you getting covid or spreading it. Which is the most important is the spread. These ceo pharmacetiual companies are lying their ass off about the 90% + effectiveness when they have done no long term trials at all and just a simple short term one where alot of people complained about some quite awful side effects like extreme muscle pain and extreme fatigue for weeks. The media was quick to call the russians out for pushing a vaccine out straight away yet the western world is going to do the same infact the russian one had more data and trials done. Id rather have the russian vaccine and this very sketchy mRNA one.

These press conferences are all money grabbing to drive stocks up hype the public up just like the good old nuclear fusion days and nanotech. A smart caltech professor once told me don't believe the news these sciencetists are feeding. How our funding works is we need to drive hype so we can keep our jobs and make money so alot of data is bullshit and notice how so many breakthrough in technology never arrive? he was truly a smart man who taught me to think critically and for myself.

sorry i am trying not to drink and to cut down on a small opiate habit i got due to botched dental surgery and finding it quite difficult, and i find people being wrong about science hard enough when i'm not in a foul mood.

There is a reason why mRNA vaccines were avoided for 3 decades. And that is the safety profile of them. This is the first time a mRNA vaccine will be deployed widely and we have zero long term data on it.

science moves forward, heres a nice review on mRNA vaccines from nearly 3 years ago in a reputable journal: https://www.nature.com/articles/nrd.2017.243

i agree we will have no long term data on this particular vaccine, and that is unfortunate and could have some negative unforeseen consequences, but the other options are: lockdown until long term safety trials are complete, or millions dead, further millions debilitated due to the long term effects of covid. people are now working on specific pathogen detectors that could give us a middle ground in places that can afford to install them, but that is difficult work that will likely not be ready for months. given the vast rrecent advances in vaccinology i'd prefer to get the shot than stay in lockdown indefinitely or allow the entire population to be at risk.

Well mRNA is promising with developments its still unproven and good safe science waits and takes time instead of rushing something. To high dose of the vaccine poses extreme risk to the person. While pzifer one needs -80 degrees celsius making it completely impractical for alot of countries. If it was a DNA vaccine i would be feeling better about it. Sure they can probably give this out to the masses but i would want free roam of countries to be locked down til we have the long term data back. With the newer mutations of covid-19 also displaying resistance to antibodies opening up the world to soon just because some unproven vaccine came along would be terrible.

I would wait til at least 2022 before we can truly say if these vaccines are safe to take on a mass scale.
 
on a technical note, all science is unproven, all you have is evidence, and people consider overwhelming evidence to be proof. but its not, there's always an infinite number of models that generate the same observational results and can never know which model is correct. this is a logical fact.

we can't lock down til 2022, its destroying my mental health and that of most people i know.

of course science would wait if it could, but even outside of a global pandemic, it rushes everything. publish or perish. its just now the rushing is in the public eye so people with no scientific experience feel justified pitching in with their opinions.
 
I've had to tell family members to fuck off with their whatsapp conspiracy chain messages they kept forwarding me. It sucks being abusive but there's only so much stupidity I can take.
