Sometimes after pretty big weekends eg staying up for 3 and 4 days on end. for the next few days at night i tend to see these monsters which scare the fuck out of me and i cant sleep it gets better with time. Does anyone else get/have this problem ?

are you staying up doing coke in big quantities? If so, it is quite common when you abuse for an extended period.
It's called cocaine induced psychosis.

That happened to my husband after 3 nights of us staying up until 6 a.m. or later every night/morning. He said that every face that he looked at started turning into a demon face. I think the acid we had played a big part in that though.:-)!

According to my little psychology text, psychosis is relatively common after 100 hours without sleep. If you want to toss a few amphetamines into the equation, I'm sure things could get quite nasty...

Psychosis is fun, and very unique in that you are totally fucked out of yer skull, scared of the most illogical and inane things, but you TOTALLY believe it.. oh well, it makes you fun to be around!
It will pass after some sleep.. that is, if the MONSTERS DONT KILL YOU AND EAT YOUR FACE!
