Blurry visions of helpless tears, I saw the sparkle fade from your eyes as my life slipped from my hands.
You brushed my hair back behind my ear and whispered a final, Tearful lullaby
"The sweetest moment in this life was the one in which I first set my eyes on your angelic smile. The most beautiful sound I have heard is that of your innocent yawn as you fell asleep in my arms. You reached for my hand, By then purple, You kissed my cheeks, By then gray, And fell to your knees.
Though my mind could no longer think, My heart could still feel.
As my eyes began to disolve into the night,
I wrote a heart on your hand with my finger and gasped for life, Though the taste of death was near..
"I love you", In the faintest voice I released.. In my final exhale.
