Molly, what the hell?!

In the past that I have used it, it lasted 4-5 hours. Last night I got really good molly, tested it and everything. It was great, I have a capsul that was .3g, the guy told me there was approx 300mg in the cap and that he didn't think I should do it all at once and to half it, so I went to the bathroom and put half in some toilet paper and parachute it. 30 minutes later I was rolling hard, blew up, took the other half, Rollin pretty hard and then started to rapidly come down. Then it completely stopped. It lasted 2 hours at most. While my bf who took the same amount and capsul rolled hard all night long. The only difference is that he left his in the cap and took it at once, and I had taken adderall that morning before work, but that was long before the rave. What happened? Why did it quit so quickly? Was it parachuting it? Could it have been that the adderall depleted the seratonin from my brain? I have never had anything last only two hours..

How often are you using MDMA? If you use it too frequently the effects will start to diminish greatly.

And you're sure it tested ok? That sounds like a classic case of Methylone to me... 300mg of MDMA should have you at near E-tard level, if not already there. And yes, it should have lasted about 4-6 hours, depending on how often you roll.
 
Yes,l tested both caps before I purchased them, they came out pure. I hadn't done any MDMA in like a month and a half.my bf rolled seriously all night and towards the end of the night his got more intense. Mine was really intense but it just completely tinkered out after two hours. Does parachuting it effect the duration? Idk, but I was quite sad. It was like it slowly came on, then blew up,felt manageable, blew up again and then bam! It was done. :(

Parachuting really just makes the come-up quicker because your stomach only needs to dissolve the paper around the MDMA. Gel caps take longer to digest, so usually the come-up will be more gradual and not as much of a smack in the face. I don't, however, think that it has to do with duration. Or at least not much.

I'm honestly at a loss if it WAS actually MDMA. Maybe someone else has something to add. :\
 
My thoughts exactly. I used a dance safe test kit and everything,it came back pure.is there any substances that can come bck on there as MDMA when it isn't?the cap had a small amount of whitish powder at the bottom but was mostly brownish crystals. I just don't understand how my bf rolled his balls off all night long and i came down after two hours.i was wondering if maybe the adderall had depleted my serotonin and maybe I just didn't have enough left to release so it didn't work long or something? Shit, I don't know but I don't want it to happen again.

The dancesafe kit can tell you there's MDMA in your powder, but it can't really tell you how pure it is. The stuff you took may have been cut with baking soda or flour or sand or something.

Did you actually weigh the amount you took? Your dealer may simply have been lying about how much was in it.

You say you last rolled a month and a half ago, how often were you rolling before that? It may take more than a month and a half to lose your tolerance.

Well, there's your problem!


Adderall or any amphetamine taken before your roll will diminish it quite a bit, ESPECIALLY if you took it much earlier in the day. Take at least a weeks break before using any amphetamine (including one's given to you by a doctor..), two weeks is better, to avoid that kind of thing.
 
Yeah, he did weigh it out in front of me. I've know him for years, and he is a super reputable guy and dealer. So I do not believe it was cut with sand or anything, he told me it was 300mg and that he was rally concerned that if I did it all at once it would be too much. And begged me to half it and take the other half later. Who knows though. Better luck next time I guess. Before a month and a half ago I hadn't rolled in over year, then a month and a half ago, then on Monday.
 
How does it make sense that amphetamine will diminish your roll? Isn't it one of the most common adulterants in pressed pills?
 
In the simplest terms: It's due to your brain releasing chemicals. If you use an amphetamine, chemicals are released. You need to wait for your brain to produce more of these chemicals, or else your brain won't release as much.

MDMA (molly) is an amphetamine. Adderal is too.
 
Sure, that's why you need to wait between rolls, because you're using the same drug again. But MDMA works via serotonin release (and some norepinephrine/dopamine, but as I understand it, not as much), while plain amphetamine works primarily via dopamine. A dopaminergic drug shouldn't reduce the effect of a serotonergic drug, unless it's because of MDMA's lesser action on dopamine (it should, however, cause greater neurotoxicity). But what I don't understand is, why would so many pressed pills commonly combine MDMA and amphetamine if that resulted in diminished effects? From what I understand, you still get the effects of both drugs-- a speedy roll. So why would adderall make a difference?

That's exactly why. Only, it's not only dopamine but norepinephrine and serotonin to a lesser degree as well. MDMA needs all those neurochemicals at their peak capacity to be able to do it's job well.


Speed is a common adulterant, sure. But when you take it like that, you take it at the same time as the MDMA.. not like 12 hours beforehand. That's what causes the diminished roll, you waited too long till after that initial dopamine surge and dropped at lowered amounts of dopamine and NE.... make sense?

It's pretty simple, you took a stimulant earlier in the day (adderall) so the stimulant you took later in the day (MDMA) didn't have as strong of an effect. It's not just seratonin that makes you roll, dopamine release is responsible for a lot of the good feeling you get when you're rolling.
