Interesting question and something I´ve been thinking lately.
I´m 46 and start to use MDMA one year and half ago. It was almost a life chaging event, I´ve been using it like it should be used, spaced out to keep the magic at top. Then a year ago I tried coke and first time was good, but nothing really special, nothing compared to the magic of MDMA. At the begining I didn´t like the coke ritual of snifing, it was a bit disguisting to my eyes, the numb feeling also didn´t concur me and the smell was horrible. Cloged nose was not very comfortable too. With MDMA you just would drop the powder in a glass of water, drink it and that´s it, so much more pratical and easy.
Then, with few more times taking coke I began to like the snifing ritual, I began to like the smell too, the fast come up and very clean high... you could feel the high in a different way than MDMA, it was not so intense but more controlable, the love feel is not as present as on MDMA, but I can feel it a bit, the rush is not so bombastic as on MDMA, but it is there in a perfect balance feeling that puts you in heaven.
Everytime I took MDMA were in special ocassions very well prepared and the end result were 90% perfect most of the time. MDMA is a special drug, it has to be taken with respect and certain rules can´t be broken in order for you to keep the magic and not harm yourself. Coke is different, it´s a tricky drug, it can cacth you without warning and you have to be very careful to read the addicted signs before you loose yourself.
Both drugs are wonderful if use properly, the setting while taking MDMA is very different than coke. MDMA builds inside you a huge wave of energy that has to be put out of your body, I cant take MDMA and stay at home seeing a film and just talking with friends. Every single time I took MDMA I went to Top night clubs with wonderful techno House music to burn the energy inside me. The music appreciation on MDMA is almost a magical spiritual experience coke can´t provide. The high on MDMA is much longer with much less amount needed, with 0,350g of MDMA I can roll for 5/6hours and the same amount of coke will give me 2h maximum. So, for clubbing MDMA is much better, you don´t have to go constantly to the bathroom to refil like on coke.
But sometimes I don´t feel like being 6hours high and that´s where the coke makes much more sence, you can have a blast of 2hours and finish, with MDMA you can´t have only 2 hours, you have to take the day out or night in order to take advantage of this drug. So it depends from where you are, the free time you have and the kind of high you want to feel. I love the fact coke has a much faster come up, you take it and 3 minutes after you are flying. With MDMA sometimes it takes me 45min to 1h30 to start feeling it which is a bit stressing.
With MDMA the high can get you almost to an inconscient state of mind, you close your eyes, feel the music and fly thru the universe, you loose the sense of time and space which is wonderful, coke does not take you so deep in your soul, you are always more aware of time and space.
For me sex on coke is better than MDMA, it´s difficult to get it up, you really have to work on it, but when you get there OMG it´s wonderful, and let me tell from my experience every single girl I´ve been went crazy with coke and felt much more wild in bed than on MDMA.
For me the comedown on coke is much worse than MDMA, with coke you feel a crash, like you are feeling high in a second, and the second after you´re down to earth and feeling zero high, it´s almost depressing. With MDMA the comedown is much softer, there´s no crash, and the day after you feel much better. With coke is hard to get to sleep while on MDMA you can go to bed and have a proper night sleep with no problem. Coke lets you with a cloged nose and your throw migth suffer too which doesn´t happend on MDMA.
I love both drugs, both are wonderful if taken properly, I don´t use it regulary and I´m not addicted to any, I ´ve been taking the best these drugs can give and I just hope to keep this pace for many years to come.
