Hello,

My friend tested some crystals off off of molly from the same "batch" and got various results.

- Almost always they did the classic result of turning black/purple with a slow color change with some exceptions

- 2-3 times there were very tiny orange dots...very very tiny (here is a picture)

Here are 2 other trials:

BUT, there was also another reaction:

- twice did they immidieatly sizzle then release smoke

Now since this is my friend's first time she could be overly paranoid, but it seems reasonable with both these (albeit minor) changes in the reaction that she won't take these.

What do you think?

You say it's "Molly" then you scraped some off the pill. Molly is slang for crystalized purified MDMA. Assuming you mean a suspected ecstasy tablet, and your test kit is fairly new, reactions that don't occur almost instantaneously should be suspect. Did the color change happen quickly and simultaneously with the "sizzling" or did the sizzling occur first? There seems to be a lot of piperazine combination pills in both tablet and capsule form in circulation lately. How long did the color change take to occur and how old is the testing kit? The reactions look weak IMO, it seems to be the trend lately for piperazine pressers to put small amounts of mdxx in the pills in order to throw off field tests. If your kit is fairly new, good shit hould go completely black with a strong reaction in >1 sec from my experiences.

No, it was actually crystals like in your picture. My bad that was a brain fart.

My test kit is brand new.

Reactions do occur instantly.

I think it's the camera that makes them look not that dark.

Ahh, you tested molly. I see. I'm assuming you used the marquis field test. Orange spots would indicate the presence of crystalized methamphetamine which has been pretty common for molly caps lately. The black w/ purple tint would indicate mdxx. You say there was some bubbling. If the bubbling occured simultaneously with the reaction, I'd say you're probably okay. But be forewarned, there is probably a little methamphetamine in the capsule also, since the orange spots occured in the reaction. If your friend is still concerned about the reaction, you can always go to ecstasydata.org and send a pill, but it's a little bit pricy TBH.
