Molly ~5 hours after acid

On Friday I am dropping acid, that much I know for sure. I plan on taking it around 6 pm. At 11 pm some friends are coming over and they may have an excess amount of Molly. Would it be bad to take some around 11? Obviously Molly and acid are great together, but most people suggest lining up the peaks. In this case I feel like the Molly would be hitting me hard as I come off the acid, would this cause a shitty experience? Thanks
 
Naw it should be fine, but if you're looking for a strong candy flip you'll be dissapointed.
Sometimes the comedown from acid can drag on for awhile and the last few hours can consist of no visuals but just excess stimulation and fatigue, the MDMA might help make that more bearable
 
Ok ya I feel you. I'll just wait and see then, just gonna take my tabs and if the opportunity to pop a Molly arises then I'll make my decision from there. Just wanted to make sure it wouldn't make me feel shitty
 
Ketamine doesn't cause (risk of) serotonin syndrome when taken after MDMA? I thought it was NMDA receptor antagonists in general that were risky. What is it about DXM then that causes serotonin syndrome?
 
I think (though not speaking from experience) that you'd be fine doing it. In fact you'd probly be better off doing that than the other way around ( mdma then lsd) Due to the fact that the mdma crash may cause undesirable effects while on lsd, but lsd (at least for me) Is a very mellow come down. You likely won't even notice comming off the lsd, perhaps maybe it will have a second wind even.

No, MXE does have the strong potential to cause serotonin syndrome with releasers... this is because of the unique action of MXE though, not because of NMDA antagonism. Ketamine doesn't have the same issue, people combine ketamine and MDMA all the time.

I just get the most awful comedowns from the stuff so i dont touch it more than once per year or so.

Ketamine totally blocks the comedown so i like indulge it to smoothen the transition to sleep.
I cant sleep after doing K though so i eat some benzoswwith my last line of kitty.

Dam I used to get bad comedowns when I rolled more often but never THAT bad. Weed helps me relax after it. And ya the acid I'm getting is the same that I had last time I believe and I had a very mellow comedown and slept decently even (when I'd get acid in the past itd keep me up all night and I'd feel strung out).

DXM acts as an SRI (serotonin reuptake inhibitor). Combining it with releasing agents like MDMA causes the brain to be flooded without transporter reuptake being unimpeded as failsafe to attenuate those levels.

Also OP: LSD doesn't wear off after 5 hours right? At least it shouldn't, maybe the peak has passed yes, but having the MDMA peak follow the LSD peak closely may be a bit more reasonable and not completely out of your mind compared to having them coincide completely.
Ideal seems to have the MDMA a few hours after the LSD. 5 is not many more than a few I'd say. :)
