Opioids mole removal surgery?

So tommorow i'm going to get this big ass mole removed.

Someone told me they inject it with a local anasthetic and cut the bitch off. It's a pretty big mole.

I'm not walking out of there without at least some tylenol 4's.

If this doc pulls out a script pad and says "ok i'm going to RX you some 800mg Ibuprofen for the pain..." I think i'm going to shit..right there on the floor, just pull down my pants and SHIT.:p

I've been in back pain all day with naught but some measley tramadol, trying to get some dilaudid, but you know how unreliable drug dealers can be right?

I'm not asking anybody's advice on how to "score drugs" mods so please spare me all that bullshit.

I just want to know, if anybody has had this procedure done before, what did they prescribe you for pain afterword??
If i ever see another NSAID again i think i'm gonna just puke..
 
It's a mole... you'll probably get some anti-inflammatories.

You wouldn't get prescribed codeine for a skin biopsy, you're not gonna get it for cosmetic surgery unless you're being seen by Doctor Feelgood, or it's a serious fucking mole the size of a small child.

Better start eating bran muffins. get some lidocaine gel, that will work good too.

I'm just fucking sick of doctors playing God with my medications. Here have alllllll the addictive antidepressants and benzo's you want, but wait whats that patient? you say "opiates really help with the pain"

im fuckin sick of that shit...i never ask for drugs, i always let the doctor prescribe what he chooses, but i've been seeing a pattern lately.
 
thats the problem then see i have to talk to my doctor about what drugs have worked and what else i'd be willing to try and most doctors are very helpful but if you don't need opioid/opiates for at least moderate pain then don't take them addiction creeps up on you and then your in worse than w/o them
 
The pain from mole removals isn't going to be crippling and should be well-managed with (even topical!) anti inflammatories and local anesthetic. Lidocaine is pretty underrated IMO for pain.
 
Treefa might have a chance if the mole is in a place that has a lot of movement.
I think there maybe some pain if it's on say the cheek area or a place the skin is stretched.

But it's always up to the dr discretion.
 
I had surgery to remove a 5 cm cyst growing in my lower back. I ended up going with a plastic surgeon instead of dermatologist to minimize scarring. They put me in twilight sleep and woke up to the doctor giving me a prescription for Darvocet. I was numbed up from whatever shot I was given and went home and felt okay. Only to find myself in excruciating pain that evening. Luckily my sister came by and saw I was a mess. She phoned the doctor's service and they called my pharmacy with a script for Lortab. Your doctor may be more generous but don't get your hopes up.

he didn't prescribe shit im bout to call that prick and tell him either call me in something for the pain(" i already took a whole lot of tylenol doc") or he's a fucking asshole...

fucking prick just like did surgery on me WHILE I was fucking awake and said('seee the office for your next appt.") and i didnt ask him for a script but thought...what the fuck is this guys deal..fucking ASSHOLE..
 
what is your deal? it's a fucking mole, doctors are to improve people's health not just deal out whatever pill you want, man up...

and to compare the addictiveness of anti-depressants to opiates is laughable. give me brain zaps over shitting everywhere feeling like death any day.
 
I'm really sorry you he did not give you anything for pain right away. I would call him and see what he says.
