Mold on my weed disappeared...

Sooooo... My dad found a good size bud in a cigarette pack outside, we think it was there for around 2 weeks. When he found it, there was some white mold on the outside. This was a couple of hours ago... we just looked at the bud again and all the mold is gone.

You guys think this is OK to smoke?

If it was actual mold, I doubt it would just vanish like that. I agree with chainer that I personally wouldn't smoke something I found laying in the street for a couple weeks...but yeah, break it up and get a good look under a lamp and evaluate the situation.

i'm not sure what was on that bud or why it would just... go away.

my dad tried some and said it was just like smoking nasty, brick weed. it looked like goooood stuff though. i tried a bit and yeah, it was. didn't taste odd, per se, just kind of seedy.

also, it wasn't exactly in the road. we knew it came from one of the guests we had at a party 1 or 2 weekends ago. someone had either dropped it, or tossed it at one point when we thought the cops were there.

i bet it was a tiny mycelium that had the perfect humidity/envrionment in that pack and when you exposed it to air it dehydrated and died, shriveling beyond the visible range.
