Moisture got into my MDMA powder capsules [image]

I had cleaned the container I was going to put the capsules into and I think I didn't let it dry enough because when I looked at it today the capsules were sticking to the sides of the container and the MDMA looks like this now.

Are these still good to take? Can I let them dry and store them?
 
I would remove the MDMA powder (if any is in) the capsules- throw out the wet capsules and get new ones. Capsules are specifically designed to deteriorate rapidly from moisture, as they are designed to break up in your stomach. There is no sense in storing your powder into potentially wet capsules, let your MDMA dry out if wet, and put into new capsules.
 
MDMA doesn't degrade easily. I see no reason why you couldn't just dry the capsules under a hot lamp or in a bag with a desiccant (like those silica gel packets). If you decide to play it safe and remove the powder, I'd still dry those capsules out and save them in case some of the MDMA was dissolved and absorbed by the gelatin. Every milligram counts! Although maybe thats just my cheap side coming out.
 
I remember when I first got molly in a capsule that I wanted to taste test it real quick before I consumed it ( this was before I knew it wasn't the real way to do it ) so I would know if it was a fake or not. I ended up licking, by accident, a corner of the cap and it turned real soft and gel like. I tried laying it out to dry but it remained the same. Luckily I was able to hook the two pieces back together and swallow the mother fucker, but otherwise I would have had to parachute it.

In essence, where I'm trying to get at is it didn't seem to dry for me all that much so if yours is too wet and damaged, I advise you to just buy new caps or parachute the powder.

Moisture doesn't really seem to affect MDMA.
I remember several years ago discovering some neglected pills in a little baggie that had been in the bottom of my cycle bags for about two years. They had kind of disintegrated and were a funny colour from the moisture, but they worked just fine!
 
MDMA is a very stable molecule and it requires a lot of heat to degrade. I recall someone mentioning in a different thread that they had left some MDMA in their car in 100 degree temperature and it had melted some, but didnt lose any potency. As Bsiren mention, you might want to leave it out to dry and put in a new capsule (or just dry out the current one). Safe rolling.
 
Yeah that was me. I left it in 100 degree heat in my car for at least 6 hours. I ended up taking the goo-like substance and it worked just as good as if it was powder.

There is a huge difference between melted and wet molly.

The physical state of it is the only difference, MDMA is MDMA. People have had Molly in the wash and others have left it in their cars in 100 degree weather. Neither lost potency. MDMA is a very stable molecule and it takes a lot for it to degrade.

I'm looking up the info on how heat affects it. I believe MDA in particular starts to degrade once it hits 160 C. (MDMA is lower IIRC)
 
You'd have to apply direct heat to get it that hot.
In which case, you deserve to have your drugs degrade.
 
Even if it is lower, I very highly doubt the average user will have their MDMA exposed to anything above 45C (113F).
