Cocaine Modern day purification process that works?

Remember in the jungle (lots of moisture) they use undied (clear) kerosene or gasoline. In Russia they extract psuedo with washed and dried gasoline.

Not sure about gassing in these solvents but cleaned they could be utilised.

2 easy ways to make hcl gas are sulfuric acid + nacl or HCL directly on to calcium chloride.

I do not recommend anyone without chem experience playing w HCL gas.
Sulfuric acid 96%+ will dehydrate HCl acid and produce HCl gas also.

True, though NaCl is a lot cheaper than HCL. It also creates harmless sodium sulfate as a byproduct while the HCL + h2SO4 you're still left with extremely strong acid to deal with.

Just my thoughts at least.

The H2SO4 + NaCl method is preferred because reagent grade H2SO4 has v little water. All of these methods are pretty exothermic, and the more water present, the more likely the gas will be "wet". If you're salting anything, you really want to keep h2o out obviously...

Agreed, HCL gas should not be handled without proper training, space, and gear. MODs feel free to delete my posts in this thread.

Sadly up here in the great white north of Canadakistan it seems largely that the supply of coke has gone to shit.

I suspect it's largely Boric acid and levamisole. Probably some other minor stuff as well. Likely lido or benzocaine in some, which is obvious by the intense and instant throat freeze.

Has anyone found any methods for cleaning these cuts from coke?

I've looked but it seems like most processes are geared towards other cuts.

yep! ik people who shoot it, they crush, add citric acid, or some sort of acid with water. i guess to turn it to powder you might have to let water evaporate. soft should weigh 12% more grams than the freebase. you need to add 10.7% hcl or like twice as much citric acid.
 
No that's cool, I understand the process and that regardless of whether you base with soda or ammonia the end result would be the same (for these purposes anyway)

I was trying to understand what the end result of basing the boric would be. Because it's an acid and basing it would essentially neutralize its acidity. What chemically would be the end result of the reaction?
i believe if i understand my chemistry correctly, acid+base results in a salt.
like how adding sodium hydroxide (NaOH, lye) (about 1/4 lye to soft ratio) to soft (cocaine HCl) would result in freebase, water and regular salt(NaCl). Salt dissolves in water, and it would be washed out by rinsing with water, and if they’re trapped inside, crush and rinse and recook with distilled water.
similarly, with Baking soda (NaHCO3), the reaction with the HCL in soft, results in freebase, NaCl/salt and H2CO3 which turns into water/H2O and CO2 when in water.

This is sort of true, but doesn’t answer the question. What happens to boric acid specifically depends on what is used to create the free base, i.e. the base added. Ammonia, baking soda, sodium hydroxide, etc. Each will produce different reactions leading to different end products in relation to boric acid. However, all of the “commonly used” bases will result in a product that’s soluble in water, or precipitates in water, but in any event not soluble in hexane. For example, sodium borate (for baking soda) or ammonium tetraborate or ammonium pentaborate (for ammonia, depending on the exact ratios). You really would need to look up the specific reaction to figure out which end product you’ll end up with and check its solubility profile in the solvent you’re using.

For example, baking soda may need to be heated to fully react, and the sodium borate produced is not very soluble in cold water. However the ammonium “borates” can be easily produced at room temperature and are very soluble in water.

Do you see how the answer changes depending on the chemistry? And how the process might need to be adjusted accordingly?

Concentrated hydrochloric acid, yes, if you can get your hands on it. But unless this is done in a dry solvent you end up with water contamination issues. Then you need to boil off the solvent under water free conditions without setting yourself on fire, which probably means under vacuum and dry box.

I’d also encourage one to look up the hydrolysis conditions and how easy it is to activate that reaction under numerous scenarios.
