Good afternoon, morning, and night fellow Bluelighter's around the world!

We are recruiting for moderators in 6 different subforums, one of which is here in DC.

Do you have experience living the life?
Are you a good listener?
Have you been an active participant on Bluelight?

Things we'd like to know:
1). Why are you interested in becoming a volunteer for this particular subforum?
2). Which time zone you are in, and how frequently will you be available?
3). What does Harm Reduction mean to you?
4). What does forum moderation mean to you?

If you know this to be true, then you must also know that there is a big part of you that wants good for people and is a caring person.

If you weren't a caring person, you wouldn't see that at times you ruffle feathers. Which we all do at times, to an extent.

Ah, no I have pissed off so many of the staff and I am not well liked or respected at all by senior staff at all.

They wanted to throw me out permanently. Mainly because of one person and no not you alasdairm( but probably does, because he hates me).
 
I Hate no one, mainly because my pills have kicked in,lol But seriously, I hate no one, even my enemies both real and imagined.

It wasn't you this was a while ago and the person who wanted me gone is not around here hardly. Besides this was before they started the perma ban thing up again. I hate that.

This was a while ago. Hate is not ugly. I hate seeing people suffer, from mental problems and/ or addictions.

I hate the suffering of people with other ailments. I hate evil. I hate dog fighting. I hate the horrible war on pain patients.

I hate the fact that The Southern Poverty Law Center paid millions to hate groups, neo nazi's, the KKK and others to try to cause division and foster hate for their own gain; and create more societal division. Creating and fostering hate to justify your groups existence? I hate that.

I hate true racism. I hate the cancel culture. I hate that teachers are quitting in droves because so many kids are horribly behaved and have lousy parent(s) who don't give a shit, or teach there kids to behave. I hate that there is a huge decline in the quality of public education, despite the fact that adjusted for inflation we are spending more per student than ever. Watch the videos on YouTube or talk to a former teacher, who got fed up and quit.

I hate the physical and verbal abuse on some college campuses against Jews. Like I wrote I hate evil. So hate can be an appropriate emotion to bad things.


I hate the fact that money meant to help the needy was stolen by corrupt left wing politicians and their cronies. Billions, disappeared.

I hate the decay and decline of morals in our society. I hate the fact that the younger generations are having difficulties because of bad decisions and debt caused by both sides of the political isle.

I hate the disgusting abuse(s) so many go through or have.

I hate a lot of bad things. It depends on what you hate. I hate a lot of my own bad decisions. Hate, is not bad, depending on the context.

You said hate is an ugly destructive emotion. I thought you meant that was more than people. I have always said I don't hate anyone.
They may annoy me or do things to cause me not to like them, but hate ,no.

Hey is this still open? I’d really love to apply for NMI. I know I had to step away the last time due to postpartum depression, but I’ve come a long way since then and I’m in a much better place now. I’m fully able to commit to the position and would really appreciate the opportunity to be part of the team again 💙
