Italian airport police eyeing up a busty Spanish model’s curves made a startling discovery on Wednesday — 2.5 kilograms (5.5 pounds) of pure cocaine stashed as implants in her bust and backside.

The 33-year-old woman arriving in Rome from Sao Paulo in Brazil was wearing tight-fitting clothes to enhance her voluptuousness, hoping that her looks might distract the attention of border police, ANSA news agency reported.

The report said the woman drew suspicion however after giving unclear answers to questions about the reasons for her trip to Italy to an officer. The discovery was made when two female investigators conducted a strip search.

this story makes no sense to me. She had the drugs inside her implants, which were inside her body? The drugs she was hiding inside the tissue of her body were discovered by a strip search?

Do the dealers have to cut her open to implant the drugs, then cut her open a second time to remove them? Why would she agree to that?

Its a high risk when you implant drugs inside the body & then you have to have surgery a 2nd time to get them out. Im wondering how many times she did this before.............shes nuts to allow this to be done to her in this method.

What they do? even if they stripped searched her how would they be able to tell she had drugs in her implants? she must of got scared after being interrogated so long and just confessed, b/c they can't just cut you open if they think u got drugs (unless maybe an x-ray would show the coke?? but i dunno)

lol, dumb bitch. I flew from Newark NJ to San Francisco California with a half pound bag of climbing chalk, totally unlabeled in a ziplock bag. Looked identical to diacetylmorphine Hcl(white powder heroin) and they didn't even think twice when i went through security.

No wonder these "terrorist checkpoints" they are setting up to sniff and X-ray trucks have been popping up. Evidently they can detect and analyze what substance(s) are hidden beneath a surface

I often wondered when I went through an "immigration" checkpoint where they had a sniffer dog, they X-rayed the car but how do they know whether the hidden cargo is what they are looking for or something else entirely? Seems like they have something that detects certain particles in the X-ray...

Hi Tech indeed! Im still confused though. Were these implants actually implanted in her person? or were they prosthetic implants filled with cocaine, attached to her person?

Ive flown to Europe 5 times & have flown domestic to Vegas & Cali but wont fly again since they have put all this hi tech equipment. Last time ive flown was 2 years ago & the airport security was choosing random people out of the line to be scanned by a body x-ray machine...........the guy in front of me got chosen & I just walked through a metal detector but I didnt have anything on me but money.

If you're looking to take drugs on a plane & into another country or just a domestic flight, you gotta have nerves of steel & be a little crazy now a days.

You're completely correct, I should not have used the terms i did. I don't even know why i shared this honestly. Thinking back it is a rather asinine post. My bad. Seriously. :\

Though it wasn't quite meant to be narrow-minded and heartless..
Doesn't change the fact that A), she could have handled herself differently and not been caught, and/or B) not tried smuggling cocaine when she KNEW if caught she we have severe penalties - I'm not defending those penalties, simply pointing out that she clearly was not being smart when she did this. I should have said it like that rather than calling her a dumb bitch. I really sincerely didn't mean it like that and still don't know why i said it, nor really remember. I think i was pretty drunk and in a shitty mood at the time, though that doesn't excuse it.

I actually usually have at least a small amount of climbing chalk when going through airports, never labeled, and never had a problem. When you hide something like she did it makes it pretty obvious it's something illegal..

No, I am NOT suggesting that anyone ever attempt doing what i do but replacing the chalk with coke or heroin - It's not worth the risk. I find it amusing myself that they don't bother checking but i would NEVER do it with an illegal substance.

They were attached (you can see 'not for implant' written on them on the picture).

So this is what you get for being lazy and not commiting fully =D
