mod app thread

i got an app from spork

Hey,

I've been thinking about it and I decided that I'd like to apply for the available mod position in Blogs.

I don't go on Bluelight as much as I once did, but that's a good thing as I'm much healthier now. Usually I do check in on Blogs and SO daily though and spend between 5 minutes to an hour or more on Bluelight and I live in the US CST. If I was given the position, I would increase the amount of time I spend on the board.

I'd be a good mod because Blogs was my baby and Journal/Blogs has always been my home on BL. I modded both Blogs and Journal alone for years. I also have experience modding Second Opinion and being a senior moderator. I do think that I've helped a lot of people over the years with addiction, suicide, and other issues. I am excited at the idea of working with other people instead of solo. I would also like to encourage more members to use their blogs with more themes and help maintain a close-knit community.

spork definitely belongs here! (she's helped me through a lot via journals)

I'll be running around crazy tonight but when I settle down and finally make it home I'll get right on top of the mod app sticky

so, shall we say spork is the new mod? (i realize it is the 9th but i don't see a grand bit happening between now and then)

I'll see if Blogs can be archived... if not we may be in a pickle and need to delete it

 

hmmm... it only gives the option to delete. We may need to figure something out in the future on how to do this. I figure you guys and kerry are here for life but just in case...

 

Heh, well, I'm still disappearing in Jan-- I think I mentioned that in the modthread?

I'm okay with deleting this-- there's not a tonne of discussion really, as we only had one app, and it was from the Blogs goddess anyway.

The 2 day waiting period in SS will be complete tomorrow. I'll mod kerry up then. (sorry I haven't been contributing much of late guys)
