Mobile phones: What do you have? What do you waaaant?

^^ That is what I have. I don't want anything else... this will do ;). It's has quite a few glitches but I'll manage. It's the best phone 'I' have ever had. In fact, it's the ONLY 'good' phone I've ever had -haha. I always got the cheapest one I could grab w/ the best plan available (never internet, gps, etc).

I was busting a 6thou somethin
but It got beat down
and I was broke + found this ol' badboy inner draw.

It's very much a case of mash-keypad-now,
messages are laborious
+ it's got that monochrome shine in it's eye.

I've been foolin' with the idea of an IPhone
but I see that sucker breakin' well-fast,
plus I'm not sure I dig how often hips
pull 'em out mid-convo.

They're great for trivia, tho.

Back in the day,
we usta play a game call'd "Nation~Tag",
where you gotta guess
mad National specifics from all round the world.
Quarrels would errupt but an IPhone'd sort out that rabble.

Watching assortied Tonies playin' IPhone Scrabble
has done my head in doe.

You should see the shit that passes for a word out there these days...

Eh. To be honest I love the apps and shit, but I'd trade it all for a sturdy and tough phone. But a little more up tempo one.
 
still using a nokia rubber tradey phone from maybe 2002? or 2003
its been through so much and a bit knocked arouind but the screen wont ever break. i dont get these idiots playing facebook tweets and farmvilles on the train, why dont tyhey just get an iphone brain implant.

is that one of those ones that take a whole sim credit card and the battery weighs a tonne and is about twice as big as your hand..i have one of those but lost the charger!!

They probably think it's more interesting than looking at misspelt graffiti on the train seat or staring at the ground to avoid the stare of crazy people.

Why don't you move back to 1983 luddite?
 
The Samsung Galaxy si9000 is also pretty fricken awesome, I went from Iphone to Android and at first was a little overwhelmed but once you stop treating it like a phone and more like a computer its fricking epic. I recently found that I could emulate Gameboy Advanced games and have been playing some of the classics like pokemon and final fantasy while at work.
 
I'm trying to decide between an iPhone 4 and a Samsung Galaxy S. Does anyone have any advice for me? I don't really need anything for business, it's just a personal phone. Is there something new that's coming out soon that's really great? Thanks.

If you want a phone 'pre made' to work and not much in the configurable way in the context of the whole phone, iphone is the go, if you want to be able to configure anything/everything (i.e love to fiddle), android phone is more suited for this. vanth, If you end up buying an Iphone 4 and want the freedom to fiddle with it as wazza suggested, you could always Jailbreak it.

I recently Jailbroke mine and it opens up an endless list of things you can do.
