Mo. Officer's Hamburger Laced With Meth

^i agree, secretly dosing cops with acid would be funny, but meth? shit, i wish someone would secretly give me some meth. or how about some heroin. unless he was trying to cause the cop to OD, i dont see the purpose of wasting perfectly good meth.

^Derexor, made a good point, trying to cheat a drug test seems like the most logical thing in this story.

Though even though a tweeker wouldn't waste his meth, I can also believe that perhaps the kid that served the cop was going through meth psychosis and put it in the burger as a result of that. There isn't much logic or reason when you've been up for days on meth. However I also have a hard time believing someone on meth psychosis was holding a job...

So you are saying that you think it is "OK" to give someone a recreational drug without their knowledge or consent? And that doing so as a stunt or joke is fine?

.

no. i don't think giving people drugs against their will is fine, nor do i condone intentionally trying to cause someone to OD. i'm just saying these things make more sense. if you want to do something bad to a cop(which i agree is wrong), giving them free meth makes very little sense.

I agree with you junk..... what kind of tweaker gives away free meth........ TO A COP!!!! I could see being dosed with something that would ruin his day, like Acid, but meth????? I say crooked cop needs and excuse to pass a drug test.
I'm just playing devil's advocate on this... He could have placed someone else's meth on the cop's hamburger.

that's the same thing. why would you steal someone else's meth and give it to someone you don't like? why not keep it for yourself?

In saying that I am considering that he was not a meth user.

Johnny: Damn, Robby brought some meth to work. He's gonna do it afterwards.

Billy: Cool!!!

Billy: Hey Johnny! That cop's back again! I'm goona get some and put it the cop's hamburger! Where's the meth?

Johnny: Awesome dude!!! It's in Robby's coat pocket!

Invalid Username and frizz made very good points (although 10 years is an awfully long time to spend as Bubba's tunnel of manlove). What's it supposed to accomplish? :|
That was a comment solely to described how I felt at the moment I posted that. :o

We'll never be able to eliminate prohibition if people feel casual about slipping them to the unknowing. :(

^it's not like this is a common occurence. there are always gonna be dumb asses out there. just because there are people who smoke around small children doesn't mean you should ban cigarettes.

^^^
Unfortunately, our government legislators are not that logical. And like I said earlier, this is just for fuel for the prohibitionists, none of who will say "This hardly ever occurs."

Exactly!

Drugs are not, and should never be, used as a weapon. It is both ethically and morally wrong. What what this kid did, or who ever did it, is contribute to an environment of separation.

How will this effect the next police officer who discovers drugs on someone? All that this kind of crap does is to further the divide between those who are against drugs and those who are in support of them.

This whole idea of harming the police is part and parcel of crime. The only reason that the criminal element is involved in drugs is because of prohibition. Crime has no place in drug use, and recreational drug use should not be a crime.

It is the prohibitionists who made recreational drug use a crime, not the police.

I'm pointing this out because we all need to stop allowing prohibition to control how we think about all of this. Sure, there are real shit heads who are cops. But they aren't all shit heads.

All this kid (or who ever) did was give more justification to the prohibitionists in justifying their cause of keeping drugs illegal. Either we need to respect and be responsible for the drugs we use, or we don't deserve to use them.

If this kid was responsible for tainting that cop's hamburger, I hope he spends the next ten years being bubba's favorate little asshole.
I couldn't have said it better myself, so I'll just quote it here for everybody to read again.

Dosing people without their consent is immoral and WRONG under ANY circumstances. The reason drug-usage is NOT immoral (though still illegal) is because, it is an act one WILLINGLY TAKES PART IN through a very deliberate and conscious action (smoking, snorting, pill-popping, injecting). The reason drug-dealing to adults is not immoral is because it is an act between consenting fully-informed adults who have made a personal decision to accept the responsibility of their actions. We live in a society where personal responsibility and personal freedoms (liberties) are directly related. You cannot expect to be free from responsibility and retain any liberties, the 2 are always intertwined.
