Opioids MMT clinics and dirty UAs

Can somone explain this to me. If someone gives a dirty UA why are they kicked off the program, they are addicts in need of help kicking them is useless but I know they have to say "hey take this seriously"

It's like diabetic eating sugar or summit wrong and havnig there scipt/meds removed. (sorry this is wrong.)

I've tested bad a few times they just mark my use down, never booted my scrpt.

Well, allow me to take a shot at this baffling question. Alas, one good question usually brings up another, and 'tis true in this case.

Why get on methadone if you don't want the help? If your SSI i.e. the taxpayers is paying for it, give the taxpayers a break and let someone have the slot that is ready to quit the opiates.

In my experience, the people that are kicked off the clinic are those unlucky souls who have been deemed by the treatment staff to be a bigger danger to themselves/others while ON the clinic (READ: too great a liablity). And you should be worried if a methadone clinic has kicked you off 'cause addicts are their bread and butter!

well, we don't do Drug Screening questions on bluelight, so I'm going to close this, but usually the penalty for dirty urines is that you don't get any extra take homes.
