Yes Yes! The baseball playoffs are almost upon us, and so far two teams have clinched their divisions! As of today we have the Philadelphia Phillies and the Detroit Tigers! I am from Philly and I can say what the Phillies have done in the past 5 seasons is amazing. Now what do you baseball fans want to see in the playoffs? Any good match ups that you would like to see? Lets start the topic! And GO PHILLIES :P
 
I want to see someone win the World Series who isn't Philly, NYY or Boston.

Hoping for a Brewers/Tigers WS

it's pathetic, but i think we'll get our asses in gear and limp into the playoffs.

the red sox are melting even harder than us. which is pretty fun to watch.
 
Well I am a phillies fan obviously, and you know what comes with that territory. I despise the Braves with a passion, its just in my blood and chemistry. But i will admit when I think a team is a good team. Your season had a melt down because of the injuries, and the fact that lowe has blown almost every big start where they needed him to throw at least 7 innings and not allowing 4-6 earned runs. I think you'll get the wildcard, St. louis is on a roll tho they had just left philly where they played a great series.

The new logo is terrible! The only good thing coming out of the name change is their new stadium. They were showing arial and ground shots of the new park. It looks really really good. Sucks they built it for a team that probably isn't going to do anything positive for the next 4 years! Or maybe the new stadium will light a flame under their asses to start kicking it into high gear! Its ashame when Jack McKeone even said he was embarrassed to be their manager!

My phillies need to start getting their heads out of their asses! I understand we've already clinched but seriously they need to get all the losing out now, because this isn't going to fly in the post-season. They may be the best team in baseball, but they will always continue to leave me on the edge of my seat!

we got rained out vs the mets.....another double header 3rd time this month.....
 
man the rays prolly wont make it. 2-1/2 games back with only 5 games left :(
 
Omg the phillies actually won a game last night, after dropping 8 in a row. We blew it open from the first inning on. I can't believe that it took so long to get some offense going. The pitching wasn't even that bad, over 8 games they had a starters ERA of 3.8 or something. That won't lose you ball games if your team is hitting!!!!
 
I was reading what would happen if there was a 3 way tie between the A's, the Reds, and the rays. So confusing but the end of the regular season has been a pretty good one.
