If someone has taken 40 mg of Vyvanse but is still feeling a little tired, how much adderall XR would it be safe to take on top of it? Would it have the same linear dose-response curve as if it were all adderall or dex? Also, how long after taking any of these should one wait before ingesting cocaine? What are the risks of doing blow while on amps?

I really don't know much about Vyvanse and Adderall as we don't have them over here, so I'll let someone else field that part..
In terms of mixing amphetamines and cocaine, the danger is over-stimulation. They can both cause high blood pressure, fast heart rate, vasoconstriction etc which puts pressure on the heart and they can both cause psychological effects like anxiety, insomnia and even psychosis. Cocaine is especially dangerous for the vasoconstriction and of course it can be very fiendy so it can be hard to stop when you start. We can't quantify the exact risk, but I personally wouldn't mix my stimulants - I would wait until the Adderall is out of my system..

Just take the adderall... Vyvanse is just going to leave you not being able to sleep... You have to take it rather early, or you are fucked without downers...

This is how it went:
40 mg vyvanse, 25 - 35 mg adderall xr spread over a few hours, then another 40 mg vyvanse hours later, then another one on top of that about 2 hours later.
I was disappointed, based on what I've heard about vyvanse I thought it would last much longer. the crash isnt as bad though.
