Mixing Temazepam and Pot.

I was wondering if this is safe. We got 10 30 mg pills right now and were planning on dosing 60 mg each and getting REALLY stoned with some really rockin regs we get down here. My friend told me that another friend of ours did the same a few months ago, passed out for 24 hours, and woke up in a puddle of vomit. Is this true or are we being lied to? Help and advice would be much appreciated.

I dont see anything wrong with this. I've done temazepam (stupid high) and smoked before and didnt wake up in a puddle of vomit. You should be alright.

Sounds typical if you are sensitive to benzos. 60mg temazepam roughly = 1.5 mg clonazepam or 3mg Xanax, which could be enough to get the amnesia. Won't be directly dangerous, but it might be good to have someone on fewer benzos who will definitely remember what happened, and keep you from doing anything too dumb.
I made the mistake of doing 8mg clonazepam once, lost like three days from my life... temazepam is shorter though, at most you'll forget the evening.

Dunna.. personally I have done several hundred mg's of temazepam and never got shit for a high - 60mg seems like a conservitive dose but YMMV .. I say go for it, you might passout and wake up in a pool of your own vomit, but all that matters is that you had a slam bangin good time that evening! It's used for sleep, and while it is decent for this purpose, it's not likely to be of much benifit for anything else...

well.... i dont get to eat near as many benzos as id like but 90 mg of temzepam didnt do much at all, alittle sedated maybe. but nothing like xanax valium or klonopin.

^^^ Does it? After my first benzo-induced amnesia I was really troubled by what had previously been an academic philosophical question. I was told by friends that I ahd a great time: acting liek a total drunken fool, public urination, harassing strangers, tying my friend to a couch... sounded like a total party. Yet I remembered none of it... so was it really a good time? Did I really experience it? Should I want do it again? Weird...

Its hard to get off on temazepam, even in high doses. Marijuana, for the most part, is not really dangerous to mix with any drug. Temazepam seems more like alcohol than like xanax. I once took half a carmex jar full of powder temazepam (out of some restoril capsules) which i estimate at about a quarter gram. The hangover is not worth it.

Well thanks for all of your replies, I downed 60 and smoked which led to a boring high and then later tried 30 and smoking again. The second time around was a blast.

actually... thats a combo I strongly recommend! Temazepam isn't a very strong benzo... but if you r like me... and pot gets u paranoid... then doin a benzo in combination with da weekd makes it sOoOoOoO much more enjoyable! it's just my $.02 though.

AfterGlow, I read your post after I tried the whole thing and let me tell you: You were damned right. Paranoia from the reefer went from 100% to nothing the second the pills started hitting me. Thanks for all the replies.
