Mixing roxicodone and oxycontin

Hey guys I have half a roxicodone 30 and half a oxycontin 80..my tolerance is about 40mgs of oxycontin. I know they are both oxycodone but I just did the 15 mg rocki (swallowed it) and snorted the 40mg of oxycontin and I should be really high right now but im not at all...does one dimish the efects of the other? Do they cross each other out? I should be high as hell with 55mgs of these in me..wtf

They both contain the same chemical " oxycodone " so no they dont cross each other out. Your tolerance is probably just growing and the same dose isn't taking you where it used to. Spread your usage out and let your tolerance drop a bit.

Hey CC thanks for the reply..when you say spread your usuage out do you mean like take a couple days off? When I dont do anything for like 20 hours I start to feel like I really want some rather roxi or oxy...Would hopping on subxone for a few days than coming still drop your tolerance? How long would you say to take a break for my tolerance to get back down a little because im afraid you might be right and its upsetting kowing that 55mgs of oxy wont get me real high and nodding. Also If I need 55mg and more of course I cannot continue to do this everyday becuase that will get reall priceyy..ahhh the good ole days of getting high and nodding off HALF a 30 mg and only a 30mg rocki lasting me 2-3 days

When I say spread out your usage I mean stop for a couple of days if you can. Going on suboxone wouldn't help drop your tolerance either it may raise it. I would try to only use opiates once or twice a week in order to get the most out of the experience and to avoid catching a habit. The next time you go to get high take 50 mgs of benedryl an hour before you dose the opiates and that will help potentiate the nod aswell.

dude your tolerance just went up a shit ton... this past month and a half i've been doing oxy 2-3 times a week...at first i started at 40 mgs. now that wont do anything at all to me now so i have to take 80 mgs. to get high...my tolerance fucking skyrocketed

Roxicodone work differently especially together because one is IR and the other is very slow time release and it also depends on how you you took the oxycontin

He snorted the OxyContin. So it being a sustained release formulation wouldn't matter in his situation.

There is only one answer to your question. Your tolerance has increased. Your previous tolerance was 40mg oxycodone, you take more of the same drug (taken the same route) and it doesn't get you high. Tolerance is the only reasonable explanation. Sorry buddy but if you feel that you need it everyday and increasingly higher doses aren't doing it for you anymore, your becoming one step closer to moving onto the big H or rehab if you don't slow down.
