Welcome to Bluelight!
Please, don't refer to "Swim" or any other false identity when speaking about yourself. It's confusing and illegal. I've made the same mistake too, it's all good.
I got high on codeine before, the hangover made the experience inadaquate. Rather be sober than "warm and fuzzy" for a few hours, later overwhelmed by dysphoria.
The problem with getting high on cough syrups is all the unwanted ingredients found in them. Flavoring, acetaminophen, alcohol, anti-histamines and possibly more.
If you're going to resort to these desperate measures at least make sure codeine is the ONLY active ingredient inside. You can enlighten yourself by easily checking the package, look under "Drug Information."
Mixing alcohol with opiates isn't recommended. They put so much stress on your liver alone, why combine them?
Acetaminophen is tylanol, doesn't get you high. Adds more challenge to your liver.
Consuming over 50 mgs of promethazine at once isn't only hazordous, it's pointless.
Promethazine is just a sedative anti-histamine with arguably no recreational value:

Anti-histamines combat histamines to reduce nausea. Histamines are responsible for itch, dizziness, vomit-sensations and the like.
I found this out by simply Googling. Yes, it really was that easy.
Please, educate yourself before experimenting.
