My girlfriend is going to a fest this weekend and she is currently in possesion of both substances and she was thinking about mixing them.....has anyone ever had any experience with that combo? And if not does anyone possibly know what the outcome mite be? I feel like the mushrooms mite fuck with her a bit just because in my experience with mushrooms and 4 aco-dmt i feel like the 4-aco was alot less chaotic and more controllable then if I take mushrooms.

Just don't get crazy with the dose and you'll be straight. I'd be interested to see if they synergized in some way. I'd still recommend that she should try both substances alone if she hasn't yet before she mixes them.

I really don´t see any harm coming from it. The differences between the two are really subtle........

Worst case she might "waste" some of either compound because of crosstolerance.

Nah, it´ll probably be good times....

The effects of the two are extremely similar. I certainly can't tell the difference between the two, and I can usually see differences between psyches

The majority opinion is that 4-AcO-DMT is metabolized almost immediately into psilocin, the active constituent of mushrooms. Mushrooms contain a bit of other crap, which may have subtle effects on the experience. I think the knowledge that mushrooms are mushrooms has more effect on the experience than the chemical differences.

The effects should be very similar, and there should be no synergy, as the primary active agent is the same.

Seems potentially redundant to me.

Then again there are 2 ways to view the combination of similar drugs like several different 2C-X together:
- one take is that it is redundant and therefore pointless.
- the other take is that it could be a way to create a more rich 'taste pallette' the same way that often distinguishes natural drugs from synthetic ones.
for example cannabis has a rich variety of cannabinoids while one JWH-xxx compound is singular and more plain and straightforward.

In some cases similar drugs can feel confusing because it can be like 2 stories are told simultaneously, this is especially true if the modalities do not mix entirely.

But to return to the topic at hand: mushrooms already contain multiple alkaloids that create a more complex effect than any one pure substance. Adding 4-AcO-DMT could either make the sensations from them dissolve into each other with little extra gain, or it could enrich the complex effect even further by partially adding the distinct subtle differences from 4-AcO-DMT. Which I attribute to the different pharmacokinetic profile.

Hopefully you understand what I am trying to say. :)
