Opioids Mixing ibuprofin and oxy?

its valid..i feel an iby 800 will relieve pain for a shorter amount of time than standard oxy...but why are docs so reluctant to give combunox?
 
All we can do is speculate and I don't really see information that's relevant to most of the OD community or related to harm reduction so I'm going to close this.

NSAIDs such as ibuprofen have pretty bad side effect profiles (primarily GI related) and interactions and of course oxycodone has steep abuse potential so naturally a combination of these will have a limited market as best.
