Mixing DXM products (cordicin and Robo Gel Caps)

i was wonder is there any danger if i take below the maximum dose of cordicin which is below or 24mg of chlorpheniramine and mix it with a hand full or more of DXM only robotussin capsules?

It is still dangerous even under 24mg to combine with that much dxm.

There shouldn't be any danger if you're below the max recommended dose, but avoid it if you can get pure DXM syrup. Make sure the corcidin has no other ingredients too, some versions contain stuff like APAP and epinephrine.

yeah i know about that, but i appreciate the thoughtful harm reduction thinking though lol, the cordicin i got is cough and cold which only has 30 mg dxm/ 4mg chlorpheniramine in each pill. i decided to take 5 cordicin and 6 gel caps equaling to 20mg chlorpheniramine and 240mg DXM just to get used to the experience haven't done it in a while and i copped quite a shit load so better to start off low.

I also have a question about adding 25 mg of promethazine with dxm, is there any danger in doing that? i was thinking if i start to get the robo itch or extreme nausea i could pop my prescription promethazine pill?

Total dose of 20mg of chlorphen should be fine, since I think the maximum daily dose is 40-50mg. Though I don't know much about this drug in particular, it's always better to avoid drugs that mess with blood pressure if you don't need them.
The chlorphen itself is an antihistamine, so it should take care of the itching by itself. Otherwise, some promethazine should be fine to mix, though since they are both slight depressants, be careful of doing too much.

It is fun, longterm use could potentially cause/exacerbate depression so be careful, we can't discuss sources I'm afraid and direct your MXE chat to Psyechedelic Drugs as they know far more about it that us (we don't really cover dissociatives here but I kept this thread as it had already been answered really.. although our social is often MXE-central these days)

so the trip went to shit. i started to feel it while playing gears of war 2 and it just started to give me the feeling of nausea to the point i couldn't eat or drink anything, i went to my dresser and snorted one of my ambien 12.5 cr pills and i swear i felt perfect nothing could feel better, but i noticed i was just bored and all i wanted to do was sleep so i passed out around 11 pm and woke up at 4am feeling like shit in the stomach area i then awoke at 630 for work and did not want to get out of my bed.
i had the wost pain in my lower back like someone was punching me in the back all night, my body felt weak, my stomach felt like someone was inside twisting my insides and all i wwanted to do was puke, and to top it all off, i had a migraine like somebody smacked my face off of concrete 10 times.
I think i'm just gonna stay away from dxm for a lil & stick with my normal psyechedelics ; 2c-e, LSD, and MDMA.

Sorry you had a bad experience on it DXM certainly isn't for everyone, by the sounds of it... sounds like a good plan to stick to your normal tried-and-tested psychedelics!
