My psych has prescribed me doxazosin because he thinks the alpha blockers will assist with anxiety and the lactimal because he thinks that it will assist with my bipolar disorder. However, both of these medications are also good for treating vasoconstriction as well as preventing seizures. How do you guys think that this would mix with a recreational (~700mg) dose of DPH? I believe that the awful twitches/lightning feelings people get on DPH are actually seizures, and a lot of the negative physical effects are brought on by vasoconstriction. In theory, these two drugs my doc gave me would be FANTASTIC for abuse of Benadryl because it ought to minimize the negative side effects.

I'll be trying it this weekend, so I can report back. I've found conflicting reports on the net as to whether lactimal/lamotrigine raises or lowers the seizure threshold, but the majority seems to believe that it raises it by quite a bit.

That particular combination poses a very real threat of serious hypotension.

Why are you abusing DPH?
