Mixing diphenhydramine with alcohol

I had experience 2 nytol soft gels (50mg ea.) mixing with 5% alcohol yesterday still can't sleep! later on add additional 3 tablets of unisom (50mg ea.) still unable to sleep. wondering what if tonight taking 6-8 tablets of unisom and two glasses of red wine what damage will it perform??? can one die from diphenhydramine? personally i don't have allergy, normally in what amount of diphenhydramine cause death?

so far not feeling anything other than both shoulder powerless

That is way too much diphenhydramine. More is NOT better with diphenhydramine. If you take too much it will be stimulating (and not in a pleasant way IMO) instead of sedating (let me know if you want an explanation as to why). If 100mg doesn't work for you I would lower the dose and try 50mg, not raise the dose.

I don't think there's generally a big risk from taking it with alcohol aside from an increase in drowsiness. I really hope you were joking when you said "hopefully drop dead"?!?

Woke up this morning feels nothing other then extreme exhaustion, and dry throat. nothing like what other people said, there's no hallucination or dizziness. wondering in what amount of diphenhydramine can cause heart rate stop, and or difficulty in breathing ?!
