Opioids Mixing DHc + Codeine, best order too take?

Ok,

Before I start I have a high opiate and benzos tolerance both singularly and combined.

So I have some 120mg XR DHC's, I've crushed and ate 6 of them (720mgs), Now I also have a few bottles of cheap Codeine linctus which basically contains 600mg of Codeine safe to drink as is. Now i know codeine is ment to have a ceiling dose, relies on certain enzymes and re-dosing is pretty worthless (basically a pain in the arse!), also my DHC cost a hell of alot more so they was taken first and left to take effect. Now I'm feeling OK but fancy getting abit more high so decided to take the Codeine.

My question which I cannot find the answer too is will taking codeine awhile after DHC (40-60minutes after DHC) affect its absorption?

Like whats the best way to combine them both? I thought of taking them both at the same time but a) wanted to see how strong the DHC would affect me and b) Didn't want any of them fighting over enzymes etc.

I can feel the codeine coming on but obviously not as much as normal as it's clouded by the DHC high.

I have taken baclofen, promethazine and some Diazepam to both potentate and take away the itchies/nausea.

I have a few more bottles of the cheap syrup and a few more expensive DHC doses so would like to know the best way to get the most of out of the two. I've searched and have only found redosing with codeine/DHC singularly. If there's an existing thread I apologize and this can be deleted once i'm redirected.

Thanks guys, mmm feeling the codeine, find it more europhic than DHC IMO, hopefully taking the Codeine later doesn't matter like redosing codeine.

i think the ceiling dose of codeine is around 400mgs, and i find anything less than 300mgs to be a huge waste of time in any case. DHC i actally prefer. i don't get any significant euphoria from either one in any case, and find that opioids weaker than morphine usually give me none. just a nice sedated buzz. i've often combined a lot of different painkillers with promethazine and benzos, the latter not really being a safe practice. promethazine is a nice way to enhance pretty much every opioid though.
i don't know if they compete for the same enzyme in the liver, but i think it's a safe assumption that they might, so spacing out the dosages sufficiently could be a good idea.

Cheers I wasn't really worried about the ceiling dose as it is a much debated thing. Alot of users including myself believe the ceiling dose is alot higher....I deffo can get more high off 600mgs than 400- etc. Some people even believe there isn't really a ceiling dose.. I believe there's a ceiling dose for codeine its just how each person reacts to codeine... whether or not they have enough levels of the enzyme to convert it into morphine. I would just personally say there's a point with codeine AND with DHC and other drugs where taking more just becomes a waste as its less effective and increases negative effects.

It's annoying that after a pretty much clean run off Opiates and reduction in Diaze that i'm far from 'Fucked'. As I had a break I started low initially but after 6 days im back to prior doses. The DHC and Codeine synergies well as does Tramadol (I had 200mgs hours before) But can't really tell if the baclofen,prometh and diaze are actually synergising the overall combo or are just working along side...It's hard to tell after using them all for so long. I have some weed which deffo synergies the combo..it makes it 100xs more intense but takes away the clarity of the Opiate/oids's high and might make me sketchy and panicky like usuall

Even with high dose benzos (150mg+) I still can freak the hell out after a few tokes. Weed fucks me up in a bad way even moreso than harder drugs.

My main question was if taking DHC effects the way Codeine is inhibited in anyway and whats the best method of taking the two, i.e all at once, or one first etc etc.

well, i did a quick search, and they appear to be metabolized via different enzymes, so i guess you'll achieve the best results taking them together. as for benzos, yeah, if you know your limits, they definitely add to the overall experience, especially with weaker opioids. however, if you're on a maintenance dose, i'm guessing they won't add much to it.
also, how much and for long have you taken promethazine? i'd only recently had it prescribed again after getting copious amounts of it in detox, as it seems like a useful substance to have on hand. i have virtually no tolerance to it, and for me about 50-75mgs taken together with whatever painkillers i'm abusing definitely adds to the overall experience and reduces a lot of the negative side effects.
also, from all i read, codeine definitely has a ceiling dose, although you may be right, as its mechanism of action is solely on a prodrug basis, as about 10% is metabolized into morphine. DHC works similarly, and is metabolized to dihydromorphine (i think) which explains it's (relatively) stronger action.

promethazine is OTC here in the UK sold as 56, 25mg tabs! I've taken them on and off for a few months and defo agree although apparently it weakens codeine/dhc as does benzos. But for me once the opiates are ingested both prometh and diazepam etc add to a killer buzz and is the only way I can nodd sometimes. Cannabis is very synergistic (SP?) as is Tramadol ime :D

Still not had a reply as to why benzos reduce the high and prometh for that matter...I find it weird when its allways mentioned in Opiate potentination (SP) threads but anyway!
