What does Matcha taste and feel like?
Gonna take a finger dip, at first sight it so Green/ Chlorophyl rich.
It remind s. Of Barley Grass or Chlorella powder, but a lighter shade of green.
On the Nose/ Tongue its like a freeze dried Herb,
without any really taste scent. So i assume Camelia Sinensis is quite neutral.
It has a astringent feel and tastes
GREEN. But mixed in Water or Oat-drink.
It can be drank hot and cold.
Taste is weird, not really reminiscent of Green tea. Has a sort of unique,
slight astringent effect in solution. Drinkin it hot with some Coconut sugar.
And Oat-drink atm.
Bought 2 kinds pure: 1 TSP./ 2 gr. 68 mg. Caffeine.
One with Coconut sugar: 1 TSP./ 5 gr. 43 mg. Btw took a dose of both.
The flavor is described as:
UMAMI, not figured out that one taste we never learned on school.
Can t describe it, so it is WIKI time.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umami
I sense a bitterness, lingering, though i didn t sweeten it.
But that was very like Green tea, Yellow and White tea don t share that.
besides the Coconut in it. Bit more sweet and its probably pretty good.
How does it feel, not like a cup of Coffee with that amount of Caffeine.
There is no Yolt of energie, vasoconstriction/ sweaty hands.
And my hearth-rate normal, and no Raynaud.

Till now.
edit: been making the Matcha better now, the first to much so to bitter.
Did a warm one in Oat drink with added sugar and less Matcha.
And discovered again it behaves as Cocoa. So 3-rd time,
solved this by making a paste 1-st, by stiring a little cold Oat drink.
Green tea may not be heated over 65/ 70 C. Ruins the taste/ anti-oxidant s.
So added some more too the paste, the rest i filled with warmed Oat.
And that made a tastey drink, water works too, but a bit of Oat drink Barista.
My preference, its G O O D, like a Fairy pissing on your tongue.
