Is it worth while mixing Xanax and Valium?

Depends. They do feel different but obviously both benzos and both primarily anxiolytic, although diazepam is pretty sedating and lasts a hell of a lot longer.. mixing a hypnotic benzo with an anxiolytic one is more worthwhile IMO but ever so, they are all benzos and although there are differences, it's nothing like the difference between two classes of drugs. Why do you want to mix them? Sometimes patients are on a long-lasting benzo for generalised anxiety then prescribed something like alprazolam for panic attacks, but it's not common here in the UK.

Be careful you don't become over-sedated and don't add in any other CNS depressants (alcohol, opioids etc)

I just wondered if it might give a good buzz or a dangerous combo and to late about the opiate thing Effie lol already popped sum dhc but have big tolerance to it so shud be fine.

go for it lol , i dont find xanax that sedating or euphoric , but i still love it lol , valium will bring more of a sedating/euphoric high to it , if i were u (this is if i cared in the first place) id be one of those idiots going 'did i do something stupid?'

I used to use Xanax for short haul flights (3-4 hours) and use Valium for long haul flights (11-12 hours) But then i found that using a couple of milligrams of Xanax an hour or two before the flight would calm me nicely and then about 15-30 minutes before boarding i would take the Valium, usually 20-40mg which would have me sparked out in time for take off (The scariest and most dangerous part of air travel)

I would just take the diazepam. Alprazolam wouldn't add much to the mix and is really a crap benzo for recreational purposes. Diazepam is much nicer.

diazepam is way better recreationally than xanax , alprazolam is for a much stronger relief of anxiety / stress sorta thing . the alprazolam will have u barred out ... like half retarted sorta thing lol heaps slow n that , the valium will make u feel nice ontop of that , if u want to take both ... tbh i recommend it . 2 nice feelings ontop of 1 , quite weak but better than the other feeling is better IMO ... althought its a HR site ... shouldnt be recommending polydrug use ... dont forget its dangerous ?

OP..everybody reacts differently to benzos in a way..what's sedating for one..isn't for another...
inherently, we're supposed to say you shouldn't mix them, i guess...
I'd just say...if you don't know how you'll react...then no driving dummy.


dhc is very stimulating to me...one of my fav's..and enjoy it w/diaz.

edit: xanax isn't a crap benzo and only for recreation..it's not recreational at all for me..
but it serves the purpose it's rx'd for...

i find xanax recreational , or maybe i do have bad anxiety , i kno i get anxious and overthink things all the time , but xanax really puts me at a nicer place , except sometimes makes me emotional like alcohol . it helps alot with my depression , about an hour ago all i could think was suicidal thoughts , had some xanax , now im just not thinking well at all , and feel alright lol .

Yeah i used to find Xanax worked very well for this also.
