does anyone have any experience with this combination? if so, what should i expect and how long should i expect it to last? i've never mixed the two before so that's why the dosages are so low. thanks

What to expect depends on you're tolerance. But, at those doses it's a safe combo; it will be, assuming you have a low tolerance, fairly relaxing.

However, be sure to take the diazepam about 2 hours after the tramadol. This is because it takes roughly 3 hours for it's metabolite, desmethyltramadol, to reach peak plasma(tramadol itself has a Tmax of about 2 hours).

Meanwhile, diazepam is a very fast acting drug, that reaches max effect within an hour, and it also has a short duration, so you need to delay taking it until afterward if you want a full synergy.

Peak effects will last 4-6 hours with this combo, after effects may linger for a few more hours though.

Have fun

oh i thought diazapam had a longer on-set with a longer half-life, i just took 150mg of tramadol, i guess i will wait a few hours for the valium

It does have a long ( half life) a very long one but half life has nothing to do with actual effects contrary to popular belief

i understand that, but i was just referring to the drug's actual onset of action.

but anyways, i took the tramadol at around 10:30pm, waited until midnight to take the 15mg of valium, after about 45 minutes started feeling a little drowsy but not enough to actually knock me out. so around 1:30am i took 225mg of lyrica and within 15 minutes i was GONE. i have never in my life, at least that i can remember, slept so hard and so long. my wife left for work at 7:30am and when she got home at 4pm i was still out, which actually freaked her out because i didn't respond to her calling my name, which prompted her to shake me, and that woke me up. i had no idea that i had slept that long and what's worse, or better depending on how you look at it, i wanted to go back to sleep. it took a BC powder, 3 espressos, 2 red bulls, and a 45 minute shower to get me normal, but my legs still felt like noodles. needless to say i'm fucking wide awake now at 3am. maybe this is a combination that is common, maybe it isn't, but an effective one nonetheless.

Tramadol metabolites best when there is already a little bit in your system. If you only have access to 100mg, bite 1/5-1/4 off and wait half an hour. Then take the remaining 4/5-3/4 and wait another half hour. Then take 4-6 Nurofen Plus (the max daily dose of codeine and ibuprofen is 6 so take 4 if not comfortable}- codeine is most effective in its first dose (as oppose to Tramadol which most effective in its second dose).

You want the codeine half an hour after the Tramadol as they both use the CYP26 enzyme in metabolism and are competitive so basically you need your Tramadol to already be metaboliszed to free up the enzymes to break down the codeine. When you take the 4-6 Nurofen Plus (12.8 codeine/tab) take the 15mg of valium. Valium is metabolized by CYP3A4 but both enzymes are p4540s. This is good as they potentate each other so help to produce maximum effects.

Valium goes great with tramadol, actually too well which can make me get a benzo habit so I stay away from both.......only use tramadol with vicodin now & Valium only when really needed.

it seems nurofen plus isn't attainable in the US market and must be purchased from the european market. is this true?

thought this was only true of xanax, guess i was wrong. either way i don't think 15mg is enough for me.

The funny thing is that alprazolam is actually an intermediate acting benzo!(that is, it takes 1.5-2 hours to reach full effect, and it has a moderate duration)
