Mixed 2c-e and 2c-c in same container

So, I was putting some 2c-e and 2c-c I had i to amber vials for storage and made a careless mistake. I filled one vial with 2c-e and got distracted for a bit, then came back and put 2c-c in that same vial, meaning to use a fresh vial. So now I have 2c-e and 2c-c all mixed together. I see no easy way to seperate them so....

There's about 350mg of 2c-e and 750 mg of 2c-c. The only thing I'm worried about is the dosing or a synergistic effect.

If I dissolve them in isopropyl alcohol and then evaporate, would I at least end up with a homogenous mixture? I'm just worried that If I measure out 20mg two times, each might result in vastly different trips because of the amounts, or "hot spots"

Personally, if this happened to me, I'd just toss it and buy some more. You might be able to mostly separate them with a gravity column, if you really wanted to.

Damn, I'd really hate to toss all that, it was bomb 2c-e too.

I'm an idiot.

I think putting it in isopropyl alcohol and then evaporating it is your best bet. You'll get an uniform compound that way. I'm quite sure that 2cc and 2ce's effects mix quite fine. You'll just have to work out the doses.

Actually, thinking about it, if you take 30 mg of the mix, you'll be getting 15 mg of 2ce and 15 mg of 2cc. 15 mg of 2cc is really a neglible dose, and you might not be able to feel that at all.

edit:
Hey, wait. You'll get 30 mg of 2cc, with the 15 mg of 2ce. You'd be able to feel that, but I still think it would be quite okay.

Yea I'm not too worried about the fact that they're mixed together, I just want to be able to dose it reliably.

maybe dose nasaly a few mg's at time untill you reach your state ?

Perhaps they have significantly different solubilities, in the sense that one starts to crystallize long before the other crashs out. That would lead to an uneven mixture.

An alternative may be the following idea:
You can always dissolve all of it and measure doses with this solution (as a solution is a homogenous mixture), using an oral syringe or similar.
E. g. dissolve in 150 ml of vodka (shake well!) and you get 2.3 mg/ml 2C-E and 5.0 mg/ml 2C-C. With this concentration you'd have 10 mg 2C-E and 21.5 mg 2C-C in 4.3 ml solution. Assuming the initial amounts of substances and vodka are precise and you'd use an oral syringe, that is readable to 0.1 ml increments, you'd have a deviation of about a mg for this dosages (a few mg realistically). Hope this helps :)

[[typed this all before i read sn23's post, gonna hit the Reply button anyway though =p]]

with the isopropanol idea... would the 2c-c and 2c-e actually drop out of solution at the same rate/time? i'm not sure if the resulting powder mixture would actually be homogenous.

however, while its in solution it should be homogenous. i'd say your best bet is to just make a liquid vial outta what you have. you won't run into the "hot spots" issue that way.

in my experience 2C-E is generally much less soluble than 2C-C by dint of being more hygroscopic, but i'm not sure if that matters once they are in solution (sampled from 3 batches of 2C-E and 3 of 2C-C).

the two together are not a bad combo at all. For me 30 mg 2C-C + 15 mg 2C-E was like a genial 2C-E trip with "larger" paisley-style OEVs (in the sense that they looked like they were under a magnifying lens).

i don't think there is any reason to evaporate assuming you can measure the volume of the solution, and also measure you doses.

start with the amount of liquid you think should have 5 mg 2C-E and work up from there.

and keep track of the total volume in your liquid solution so that you can account for any evaporation that may occur.

Yes, definitely use a tight sealing container and check for evaporation (e. g. a paper label on a glass bottle going from the bottom to the top, marks with a pencil are good, as they don't get rubbed off like permanent markers ink on glass).

A bit of food colouring added to such solutions is strongly advised too.

Hygroscopy is not an indication of low solubility, at least I'm not aware of it. Hygroscopy is the result of the compound in question being able to interact in a relatively strong fashion with water molecules. I think this would rather lead to solubility in water. This effect should not be present once the compound is in solution (because the molecules are already surrounded by water and can't attract more).

^ok cool thanks. I assumed as much.

what i mean to say is most of the 2C-E i have gotten is very fluffy and low density and will not go into solution. yet i know that some people have 2C-E that goes into solution easily.

Thanks soooo much for the replies guys! I wouldn't mind combining the two, but would rather do it by choice than be forced to. It sucks because this is some of the best 2c-e I've ever had, but don't know about the 2c-c haven't tried it yet

I think I'll keep it in a liquid solution so I avoid an uneven mixture. The only other concern I have is that the 2c-e and 2c-c will synergize and be stronger than I might anticipate. Any one have experience mixing 2c-c and 2c-e? Guess the safest way would be to start small and work may way up. Who knows maybe I stumbled upon something special.

Once again thanks for the advice and would love to hear what anyone else has to say.

i have heard a couple friends said they really enjoy 2cp 2cc combo, i know thats not 2ce but similar. also i dont think theyll combat each other i would try it out and start with low doses if your confident. be ok with it feeling different than usual it most likely will atleast a little, you might not even notice much of a difference but its good to be ready just in case. id think they mix well though both peas and ones very gentle and the other is a little more out there, itll probably be more visual imo. i have read alot of reports of 2cc calming the 2ce down a bit in some areas if im not mistaken. i even experience that when i eat mushrooms with 2ce if i dose right.
