I used them for 3 months, and notice that my heart was "missing the beat" when I was lying down on bed.( I like Tenuate effect to the brain, not heart)
I checked to Cardiologist, got to do a treadmill session, ultrasound of my heart, etc, he concluded I got Mitral Heart Prolapse.

Has anyone tried Tenuate ( Diethylpropion) and Phentermine before? ( But Tenuate was discontinued several yrs ago as an anorectics of amphetamine drug). Duromine just gives pure restlesness, as it comes in little small beads like Efexor XR, and ion exchanged.
It means that it won't exert any pharmacological effect, until the beads mix with electrolytes in the stomach and intestine. As for me I notice Pseudoephedrine even works better than Duromine.

Research Fen-phen & reasons why it was withdrawn from the market. I'd be cutting back on the stims altogether Davevanza unless absolutely necessary.... though mitral valve prolapse may not really be that serious. I have some heart problems too (valve regurgitation, dilated aorta). Do not use 4-mmc! What's your general fitness, body fat % etc like?

There are also links between serotonergic drugs and cardiovascular fibrillation. Worth googling.

(sorry not trying to encourage internet-self-diagnosis, hypochondria etc)

^ Belarki is on the ball (as usual). Definitely avoid stimulants from now on and work on improving your health; nutrition and exercise are both recommended for MVP. Your doctor will be able to advise you on the best course of action. :)

I have stopped both drugs couple of yrs ago. The Cardiologist gave a sound advice to stop using them, if I wanted to avoid further used of antiarrhythmic from him. I opted to stop. Enough stimulant for me.:)

I do hit the gym 4 times/week. ( Resistance training)
I also play badminton just once a week. ( as an endurance exercise)
Every night I practice stretching in my room, just to loosen up all tensed muscle. ( kind of relaxation technique, I practice the eastern meditation too and Pilates.)

My diet is very strict.
Bfast :
-Skim Milk with plenty of high fibre cereal ( 1 serve of dairy and 1 serve of cereal)
-2 Egg whites ( a serve of dairy, for my protein intake)

morning tea:
-An Apple and any citrus juice ( 2 serving of fruits, supplying pectin and ample of Vit C, bioflavonoids to strengthen my immune system, research has shown that high vit C prevents blood vessels from rupturing).
This sounds good to strengthen my bloodvessels, as Vit C is also an antioxidant in combo with vit A ( I prefer B-carotene from Carrot, as it's converted to Vit A when needed by body) and Vit E ( which I'm taking the Cenovis 500 IU)

Lunch:
- Skinless Chicken sandwich with salad ( a serve of veg, and meat)
- Plenty of water ( to flush out any toxins-by products)

Aft tea :
- Bluebbery juice ( a serve of fruit)
It's high in Anthocyanin antioxidant, beneficial to the small blood vessels around the eye nerve, as I always focus much in front of computer).

Dinner
- All salad, cheese. ( supplying minerals from veg, and calcium, I need to strengthen my bones too)

Bfore sleep
-Warm milk
-ripe banana
Both high in Tryptophan, good for mood, and helps to sleep well.

I think my diet is too strict, that I limit taking Pizza only once a week ( I heard on Ten news couple of yrs ago, that, eating Pizza once a week is beneficial to prevent heart disease.)
Not to mention, the amount of Lycopene from the tomatoe paste, helps to prevent Prostatic Hyperplasia.

I suggest anyone reading this, live well, and take care with your own bodies.
Cheers
